Our network includes more than 500 electronic health record systems (EHRs), 60,000 pharmacies, 750,000 providers and most health plans and PBMs. CoverMyMeds solutions work for all drugs and all health plans and PBMs, including Medicare Part D, Medicaid and specialty medications.<\/p>\n

Our electronic services, including prescription decision support, electronic prior authorization (ePA)and specialty support services are available at no cost for providers, pharmacists and their staff.<\/p>\n

How do I create my account?<\/span><\/h2>\n

You can set up your account by clicking\u00a0here<\/a>. It\u2019s completely free, and will only take a minute. Once you\u2019re set up, you can begin submitting PA requests immediately.<\/p>\n

Following sign up, you will be asked to verify your prescribers. We recommend verifying all prescribers you work with to ensure you receive all PA requests electronically. You can complete verification right away, or return to this page at any point in the future.<\/p>\n

Is CoverMyMeds secure if I access my account remotely?<\/span><\/h2>\n

We take data privacy very seriously, and our solution includes the same data security measures whether you\u2019re accessing it from your office or remotely. Our ePA solution is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 compliant, incorporating the industry best practice approach to securing data. Data sent to and from CoverMyMeds\u2019 network is transmitted using TLS 1.2 encryption in accordance with Federal Information Process Standards (FIPS) 140-2 and the relevant NIST publications.<\/p>\n

How can I get my providers engaged?<\/span><\/h2>\n

If providers call with questions about a request they received, we recommend giving the following steps to help them complete pharmacy-initiated requests:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in or create an account, then click \u201cEnter Key\u201d on the left side of the Dashboard.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter the six-character key, patient\u2019s last name and date of birth indicated on the fax.<\/li>\n
