ClassWallet is designed to be a flexible platform that empowers teachers with authority on classroom budget decisions. Here are answers to the most frequent questions we field about how ClassWallet individual user accounts work. Additional support is available in our\u00a0knowledge base.<\/a><\/p>\n

Keep in mind that each user account is configured to align with their district, school, or organization spending policy guidelines.<\/p>\n

ClassWallet can be used for payments in our ecommerce marketplace, for reimbursements on purchases outside the marketplace, and if debit cards are issued, anywhere MasterCard is accepted.<\/p>\n

When can I access my ClassWallet funds?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Every district, school, organization, and state has their own policy regarding when funds can be accessed. Your administrators determine when you can access funds on the platform.<\/p>\n

ClassWallet doesn’t need financial information for users to obtain a ClassWallet account or shop in the e-commerce marketplace. More than 70% of the transactions occur in the marketplace with just a work email and school mailing address. Some users may wish to spend more than has been allocated on the platform. We allow users to pay the balance of the transaction with a debit or credit card at checkout, though this is entirely optional.<\/div>\n

If you wish to submit receipts for reimbursement then you have to securely link a personal bank account so we can ACH your reimbursement. This is entirely optional. ClassWallet does not store any personal financial information in its system.<\/div>\n

How long does reimbursement take?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The actual reimbursement typically takes 3-5 business days once a user’s bank account is set up to accept reimbursements. Setting up a bank account to accept reimbursements typically takes no longer than 2 business days.<\/p>\n

Each district, school, or organization has their own policy about how to handle unspent funds, but all unconditionally remain under their ownership. Funds remaining in accounts do not revert to ClassWallet.<\/p>\n

Every vendor has their own shipping policy. ClassWallet tries to be as transparent as possible about these rules. Most vendors have free shipping available above a certain threshold. For example, at the time of this post, Staples offers free shipping for all\u00a0orders greater than $25. Bulky items may be subject to extra shipping fees. Customers in AK and HI may be subjected to extra shipping fees. ClassWallet does not mark up shipping or charge handling fees.
