Target GiftCards purchased on Target.com or in the Target app. You can call 1-800-544-2943 to check your Target GiftCard balance and hear your last five transactions.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Target GiftCards are available for purchase in store, on Target.com and at other various retailers, and are offered in the following denominations:<\/p>\n

Physical Target GiftCards purchased in store: Any amount between $5 – $500<\/p>\n

Target GiftCards purchased on Target.com or in the Target app (Physical Target GiftCards, Mobile Target GiftCards and Target eGiftCards): $10, $20, $25, $50, $75, $100 & $200, and the ability to add in a custom value amount between $5 – $500.<\/p>\n

How do I check the balance on my Target GiftCard?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Checking your balance by phone<\/h3>\n

You can call 1-800-544-2943 to check your Target GiftCard balance and hear your last five transactions.<\/p>\n

Checking your balance online<\/h3>\n

If you don\u2019t already have a Target account, you will need to create one to check the balance of your Target GiftCard.<\/p>\n

If you have saved a Target GiftCard to your Target account follow these steps:<\/h3>\n

Access your Target account.<\/p>\n

Navigate to your Account\/Name.<\/p>\n

Select Gift cards.<\/p>\n

Review your gift cards.<\/p>\n

If your Target GiftCard is not saved, then check the balance on your Target GiftCard here. Enter the 15-digit card number and the Access Number or PIN. These numbers can be found by gently removing the silver strip on the back of your physical Target GiftCard.<\/p>\n

You card may also include an Event or Sequence Number. These numbers are not needed to check the balance on your card.<\/p>\n

Where do I get the access number for my Target GiftCard?<\/span><\/h2>\n

  • Access your Target account on Target.com.<\/li>\n
  • Note: Target GiftCard access numbers cannot currently be requested in the Target App.<\/li>\n
  • Go to Account\/Name tab.<\/li>\n
  • Select Gift cards.<\/li>\n
  • Find the Target GiftCard you wish to use, and then select Get access number.<\/li>\n
  • The Target GiftCard access number will be emailed to the email tied to your Target.com account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Target GiftCards can be used:<\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. To purchase alcohol and other restricted items<\/li>\n
    2. At Starbucks within Target stores<\/li>\n
    3. At Target Caf\u00e9<\/li>\n
    4. At CVS Pharmacy within Target stores<\/li>\n
    5. In-store at Target Optical (Target GiftCards cannot be used for online purchases with Target Optical.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          • Target.com is designed to accept up to 10 Target GiftCards per order as payment at checkout.<\/li>\n
          • Target GiftCards will always be used as first type of tender before charging a credit\/debit card.<\/li>\n
          • Target GiftCards don\u2019t expire, and don\u2019t lose value over time, even if this is printed on gift card.<\/li>\n
          • A Target.com account is required to access and redeem email and mobile gift cards in store or online purchases.<\/li>\n
          • Target GiftCards require an access number to redeem the gift card funds in store or on Target.com.<\/li>\n
          • Gift cards must have barcodes that are scanable in order to redeem in a Target store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Adding a Gift Card<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

              1. Access your Target account in\u00a0the Target App.<\/li>\n
              2. Select the\u00a0Wallet\u00a0<\/b>tab.<\/li>\n
              3. Select\u00a0Add<\/b>\u00a0within the GiftCard section.<\/li>\n
              4. Select\u00a0Add Gift Card<\/b>.<\/li>\n
              5. Scan the Target barcode on the back of the Target GiftCard or input the gift card number and the access code to add it to your account.\u00a0On your physical Target GiftCard, these numbers can be found by gently removing the silver strip on the back of your gift card.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

                    Using a Gift Card Stored in Account<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

                      1. From within the Target App, select the\u00a0Wallet\u00a0<\/b>tab.<\/li>\n
                      2. Select\u00a0Payments<\/b>.<\/li>\n
                      3. Select which gift cards you want to use.<\/li>\n
                      4. Select\u00a0Save<\/b>.<\/li>\n
                      5. The payment sheet will close, and your selected gift cards will be displayed on the Wallet screen below the barcode.<\/li>\n
                      6. Scan your barcode and your selected gift cards will apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
