If you submit your application with as much information filled out as possible, it will be processed more quickly.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Who is eligible to receive a Cash Assistance program prepaid card?\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You must have been enrolled at cashassistance.gateway.ga.gov and actively receiving Medicaid, Peach Care for Kids\u00ae, SNAP, and\/or TANF benefits on July 31, 2022, to be eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Check your eligibility at gateway.ga.gov by visiting the &#8220;Check My Benefits &#8211; Case Selection&#8221; tab. Your eligibility, and that of anybody living in your household, will be clearly indicated.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>When will I receive the prepaid card?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>If you have opted to receive email only or email and U.S. mail communications in Gateway, you will receive your virtual prepaid card by email\u00a0no later than October 11. The email will come from\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:donotreply@gateway.ga.gov\">donotreply@gateway.ga.gov<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have opted to receive U.S. mail only communications, you will receive a physical prepaid card in mid-October<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-5-4\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How to Apply<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can apply for benefits and renew benefits by using\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.compass.state.pa.us\/\">COMPASS<\/a>, the online resource for cash assistance, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), child care, health care coverage, home heating assistance (LIHEAP), school meals, SelectPlan for Women and long-term living services. If you have more than one eligible person in your household, make sure you use the client ID and date of birth for the person the email was addressed to<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. How do I find my client ID?<\/strong> Your client ID is available in your Gateway account. Once you have logged in, your client ID will be displayed under \u201cMy Benefits Summary\u201d in the one-time cash assistance table<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. What happens if I can&#8217;t access the email the prepaid card initially went to, and if I update it in Gateway will the card come to the new email?<\/strong> Yes, please go in and make sure you have the correct email listed in Gateway in the \u201cNotifications\u201d screen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>In this extraordinary time, please know that the staff are working diligently to process all applications for benefits. When you create an account, you can apply for or renew benefits, upload documents, and report changes to your case.<\/p>\n<p>Use Georgia Gateway if you want to access programs such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).<\/li>\n<li>Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).<\/li>\n<li>Medical Assistance, such as Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids.<\/li>\n<li>Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS).<\/li>\n<li>Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).<\/li>\n<li>Refugee Cash Assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Georgia Gateway is offered in multiple languages. In fact, you and your family automatically remain eligible for Medical Assistance (MA)\/Medicaid for at least six months after you start working, no matter how much money you make. Additionally, your children might remain eligible for Medicaid even after you no longer qualify.
