Kemp recently announced that he has dedicated more than $1 billion to the Department of Human Services to provide cash assistance of up to $350 for active enrollees of Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids\u00ae, SNAP, and\/or TANF. Georgians who are enrolled in more than one of these programs will only receive one cash assistance payment.<\/p>\n<div>Benefit applications are being processed as quickly as possible during this unprecedented period. If you submit your application with as much information filled out as possible, it will be processed more quickly.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><strong>Official Website Login: <\/strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">https:\/\/cashassistance.gateway.ga.gov\/sign-in<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Who is eligible to receive a Cash Assistance program prepaid card?\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You must have been enrolled and actively receiving Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids\u00ae, SNAP, and\/or TANF benefits on July 31, 2022, to be eligible. If you&#8217;re not sure if you\u2019re eligible, you can visit gateway.ga.gov and navigate to the \u201cCheck My Benefits \u2013 Case Selection\u201d page. It will display whether you and\/or any household member(s) are eligible or ineligible.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>When will I receive the prepaid card?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you have opted to receive email only or email and U.S. mail communications in Gateway, you will receive your virtual prepaid card by email\u00a0no later than October 11. The email will come from\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:donotreply@gateway.ga.gov\">donotreply@gateway.ga.gov<\/a>. If you have more than one eligible person in your household, make sure you use the client ID and date of birth for the person the email was addressed to.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How do I find my client ID?<\/strong> Your client ID is available in your Gateway account. Once you have logged in, your client ID will be displayed under \u201cMy Benefits Summary\u201d in the one-time cash assistance table<\/li>\n<li><strong>What happens if I can&#8217;t access the email the prepaid card initially went to, and if I update it in Gateway will the card come to the new email?<\/strong>\u00a0Yes, please go in and make sure you have the correct email listed in Gateway in the \u201cNotifications\u201d screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div>In this extraordinary time, please know that the staff are working diligently to process all applications for benefits. When you create an account, you can apply for or renew benefits, upload documents, and report changes to your case.<\/p>\n<p>Use Georgia Gateway if you want to access programs such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)<\/li>\n<li>Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)<\/li>\n<li>Medical Assistance, such as Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids<\/li>\n<li>Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS)<\/li>\n<li>Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).<\/li>\n<li>Refugee Cash Assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Georgia Gateway is offered in multiple languages. In fact, you and your family automatically remain eligible for Medical Assistance (MA)\/Medicaid for at least six months after you start working, no matter how much money you make. Additionally, your children might remain eligible for Medicaid even after you no longer qualify. These<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.pa.gov\/Services\/Assistance\/Pages\/Medical-Assistance.aspx\">\u00a0programs<\/a>\u00a0can help working families:<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Medical Assistance(MA)\/Medicaid<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Medicaid, also called Medical Assistance, offers free health care coverage to children and adults.<\/li>\n<li>Eligibility is based on your family size and income, and the age of your children.<\/li>\n<li>If you are eligible, you do not have to pay any premiums. Some services may have very low co-payments.<\/li>\n<li>Benefits may include check-ups, hospital stays, shots, prescriptions, and dental, and vision coverage. Under Medicaid, all medically necessary services for children are covered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Children&#8217;s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CHIP offers free or low-cost health insurance for children under age 19 whose families are not eligible for Medicaid.<\/li>\n<li>Benefits include check ups, hospital stays, shots, prescriptions, and dental, vision and hearing services.<\/li>\n<li>If you have questions, visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chipcoverspakids.com\/\">www.chipcoverspakids.com<\/a>, call 1-800-986-5437 or ask your caseworker for information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">SOLVE (Supporting Onsite Learning for Virtual Education) Scholarship: Change Reporting<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>To report changes on your existing approved SOLVE Scholarship, complete the information below. If you are reporting a change in your provider and need help locating a provider, visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/qualityrated.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/qualityrated.org\/<\/a>. Contact the provider before submitting your request to ensure space is available for your child\/young adult.<\/p>\n<p>Contact at 1-833-4GACAPS (1-833-442-2277) if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are not able to locate your existing SOLVE Scholarship number.<\/li>\n<li>You need to report additional changes in your circumstances.<\/li>\n<li>You need to report a change on a pending SOLVE Scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Provider changes on approved SOLVE Scholarships will be effective the following Monday unless you elect to start new scholarships at a later date. Current scholarships will end with the existing provider upon the creation of a new scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>Registration fees are allowed at initial eligibility.
