We recommend you activate your card immediately.<\/p>\n<p>1. Visit the page www.bankofamerica.com\/activate inorder to activate the Debit Card.<\/p>\n<p>2. Enter the 16 digit Card Number first.<\/p>\n<p>3. Then enter the Expiration Date printed on the backside of the card.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Now enter the Identity details like Social Security Number.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click on Activate Button and the card will be activated.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"q13\" class=\"faqs-question\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Why should I register the Prepaid Card?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Registering the Card has several benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It enables you to make purchases online. Most online retailers do not accept payments without a valid \u201cbilling\u201d address. Your registered address will serve as the \u201cbilling\u201d address that retailers require.<\/li>\n<li>It enables Customer Service representatives to quickly assist you when you need assistance.<\/li>\n<li>It protects you if the Card is ever lost or stolen. By registering the Card, our customer service representative will be able to identify you as the cardholder and may be able to reimburse you for lost funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"q17\" class=\"faqs-question\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I activate the Prepaid Card?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>1. You can activate the Card online at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bankofamerica.com\/plasmaloyaltycard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-reveal-id=\"modal-leaving-site\">www.bankofamerica.com\/plasmaloyaltycard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2. You can also activate the Card by calling (833) 896-7979 toll free, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.<\/p>\n<p>3. Make sure you have your 16-digit Card account number and your date of birth ready when calling.<\/p>\n<p>4. THE CARD CANNOT BE USED UNTIL ACTIVATED AND A PIN IS SELECTED.<\/p>\n<p>5. When you call or go online to activate your card, you will select a Personal Identification Number (PIN).<\/p>\n<p>6. Your PIN is the access code to your account for all pinned point-of-sale purchases and ATM transactions.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"q18\" class=\"faqs-question\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I make a purchase using the Prepaid Card?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can use the Card anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. Just press the \u201cCredit\u201d button on the terminal pad and you may be asked to sign a receipt to make your purchase. Alternately, some merchants may require you to enter your PIN for the transaction.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"q6\" class=\"faqs-question\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How can I transfer my funds to my checking or savings account?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You may transfer some or all of your benefits to your checking or savings account by performing a one-time or recurring direct deposit transfer online at\u00a0www.bankofamerica.com\/eddcard\u00a0or by calling customer service at 1.866.692.9374.\u00a0Please Note: The Employment Development Department will not contact you under any circumstances to request personal bank account information. Any direct deposit transfer request must be initiated by you through Bank of America.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"q27\" class=\"faqs-question\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">What should I do if the Prepaid Card is lost or stolen?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Call Cardholder Services toll free at (833) 896-7979 to report the Card lost\/stolen as soon as you can, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Cardholder Services will put a hold on your account until you can get a replacement card at your next donation. Or, you may request a replacement card when you call Cardholder Services.<\/p>\n<p>The balance on your previous Card will be transferred to the new Card minus the lost\/stolen replacement fee. Please check the Schedule of Bank Fees that you received with the Card for any applicable fees.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"q28\" class=\"faqs-question\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How long can I use the Prepaid Card?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The expiration date of the Card is printed on the front of the Card next to the account number. If you were issued a personal funds Card and don\u2019t use the full amount on the Card before it expires and it doesn\u2019t automatically renew, we will send you a check for the remaining amount minus an Account Closure Fee. The amount of the Account Closure Fee is listed on the Schedule of Bank Fees that you received with the Card. We will not issue a check if the Card is a business funds Card.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"masthead__category--title\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Getting started with online enrollment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Stay on top of your finances with our secure Online Banking. Enrollment is easy and you can use the same password for our Mobile Banking app as well.<\/p>\n<p>1. Fill in the authorization code and click\u00a0<b>Submit<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>5. Review and acknowledge the Electronic Disclosure and click\u00a0<b>Continue<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>6. Review and acknowledge the Online Banking Service Agreement and click\u00a0<b>Continue<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>7. Create your new Online ID and Passcode and select\u00a0<b>Continue<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>8. Select whether or not you would like us to remember the device you are using. If you are using a public computer, you should select No. Then, click\u00a0<b>Continue<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>9. Congratulations! Take your card, cash, and receipt.<\/p>\n<h3>To get cash or check your balance at an ATM:<\/h3>\n<p>1. Insert your card and enter your PIN.<br \/>\n2. Select &#8220;checking&#8221; to make a withdrawal or &#8220;checking&#8221; and &#8220;balance inquiry&#8221; to check your balance.<br \/>\n3. Enter amount you wish to withdraw.<br \/>\n4. Take your card, cash, and receipt.<\/p>\n<h3>Purchases with a signature:<\/h3>\n<p>1. Present or swipe your card.<br \/>\n2. Choose &#8220;credit.&#8221;<br \/>\n3. Sign, take your card, and receipt.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>To use a chip-enabled card (new and replacement cards, only):<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1. Insert your card in the terminal.<br \/>\n2. Follow the prompts to complete the transaction. You may be asked to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or verify the transaction as you normally would. If you would like cash back from a Merchant, choose &#8220;debit&#8221; and enter your PIN, and the amount entered will be added to your purchase if your balance is sufficient. Otherwise, you may select credit.<br \/>\n3. Remove your card from the terminal once your transaction is complete.<br \/>\nIf a terminal is not chip enabled, you can swipe your card and follow instructions as prompted.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>To get cash at a Visa bank and credit union:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1. Ask the teller for a &#8220;Visa Manual Cash Disbursement.&#8221;<br \/>\n2. Present your card and say how much you want from your available balance. The teller will not charge you a fee for this service.<br \/>\n3.
