You can also find it by pressing the\u00a0<strong>Home<\/strong>\u00a0button on your remote and selecting\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>\u00a0(gear icon), then scrolling over to\u00a0<strong>About This TV<\/strong>\u00a0under\u00a0<strong>General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Samsung:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure your Samsung Smart TV is connected to the internet.<\/li>\n<li>Press the\u00a0<strong>Smart Hub\u00a0<\/strong>button on your Smart Control remote to go to the Samsung Home screen.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to and select the\u00a0<strong>Settings\u00a0<\/strong>icon (gear to the right).<\/li>\n<li>Arrow down to\u00a0<strong>Support<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Arrow right, then down, then select\u00a0<strong>About this TV<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From here, you&#8217;ll see the\u00a0<strong>Model Code<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Serial Number<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Software Version,<\/strong>\u00a0etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Next, follow these steps to add the Xfinity Stream Beta app to your compatible Smart TV:<\/p>\n<p><strong>LG:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure your LG Smart TV is connected to the internet.<\/li>\n<li>Press the\u00a0<strong>Home<\/strong>\u00a0button on your remote to bring up the main menu.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll right or left until you reach the\u00a0<strong>LG Content Store<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Apps &amp; Games<\/strong>\u00a0at the top of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Select the\u00a0<strong>Xfinity Stream Beta app<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Install<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Once the installation is complete, select\u00a0<strong>Launch<\/strong>\u00a0to start using the Xfinity Stream Beta app.<\/li>\n<li>When asked, register your device and sign in with your Xfinity credentials.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0The LG Magic Remote cursor and wheel functionality are not currently supported on the Xfinity Stream Beta app. Use the up-down-left-right arrows to navigate, and press the center of the wheel to make selections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Samsung:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure your Samsung Smart TV is connected to the internet.<\/li>\n<li>Press the\u00a0<strong>Smart Hub<\/strong>\u00a0button on your Smart Control remote to go to the Samsung Home screen.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to and select\u00a0<strong>Apps<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the\u00a0<strong>Magnifying Glass<\/strong>\u00a0icon.<\/li>\n<li>Enter Xfinity Stream using the on-screen keyboard and select\u00a0<strong>Done<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the Xfinity Stream Beta app and then choose\u00a0<strong>Download<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Once installation is complete, select\u00a0<strong>Open\u00a0<\/strong>to start using the Xfinity Stream Beta app.<\/li>\n<li>When asked, register your device and sign in with your Xfinity credentials.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1ejb2tnlod\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Activation<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch the app from either the LG Content store or Samsung Hub app store. If your Smart TV hasn&#8217;t been activated, you&#8217;ll see the welcome screen. Select\u00a0<strong>Get Started<\/strong>\u00a0to continue. Scroll to read the terms and select\u00a0<strong>Yes\u00a0<\/strong>to accept and continue. This device can only access Xfinity Stream on your in-home Xfinity WiFi. Use the app on your smartphone, tablet or laptop to watch on the go, any time you like. Error TVAPP-00101.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To fix this, go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/customer.xfinity.com\/settings\/account\/linked-accounts\">https:\/\/customer.xfinity.com\/settings\/account\/linked-accounts<\/a>.
