Here’s how to log in:<\/p>\n

Step 1: Go to the GeM portal website<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Visit the official website: https:\/\/gem.gov.in\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2: Click on the ‘Login’ button<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

You’ll find the ‘Login’ button on the top right corner of the homepage. Click on it to proceed to the login page.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Enter your credentials<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  • User ID:<\/strong> Enter your GeM User ID. This is provided to you during the registration process.<\/li>\n

    Step 4: Submit and proceed<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Click on the ‘Submit’ button. If this is your first time logging in, you’ll be prompted to create a password.<\/p>\n

    • First-time login:<\/strong> You’ll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number or email. Enter the OTP to complete the login process.<\/li>\n

      Introducing a Unified Procurement System<\/span><\/h2>\n

      Unified Public Procurement System for the country would provide a single user flow for government buyers, consolidating all government procurement onto a single platform leading to economies of scale, better price discovery and sharing of best practices<\/p>\n

      The following are the steps and processes in place to transition from eProcurement portals to a UPS on GeM:<\/p>\n

      1. Central Government buyers obtain a “GeM Availability Report and Past Transaction Summary” to take informed procurement decisions<\/p>\n

      2. GeM prompts buyers to publish a bid on GeM itself if the products or services that a buyer is looking for is not on the platform<\/p>\n

      3. The ID of GeM Availability Report is required to publish a bid on eProcurement platforms other than GeM (validated in real time)<\/p>\n

      4. After validation, a copy of the published tender will be returned to GeM for analysis<\/p>\n
