Frontier Activate My Frontier TV Set-Top Box : Activate Your Account – Frontier Communications<\/span><\/h2>\n

To activate My Frontier TV Set-Top Box, Connect your router to your STB with the ethernet cable provided. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your STB and the other end to your TV. When the lights turn green, your service is activated.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

If your Frontier phone services include Caller ID, here’s what you need to know.<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Caller ID lets you know who is calling before you answer the phone. Caller ID shows you the number of the caller, while Caller ID with Name lets you see the name and number of the caller.<\/li>\n
  • Your display unit (within or attached to your phone) displays the number, name, date and time of the call, so you can return that call as soon as possible, even if they don’t leave a message.<\/li>\n
  • After the first ring, the caller’s number and\/or name will appear on the display unit. The type of information and the number of calls displayed depend on the type of display unit you have.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Activate My Frontier TV Set-Top Box<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Activating your Set-Top Box (STB) is easy and works the same whether you’re:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Upgrading to a new Frontier\u00ae<\/sup> service.<\/li>\n
    • Adding a new STB to another TV.<\/li>\n
    • Installing it yourself.<\/li>\n
    • Having a Frontier technician install it for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      For Frontier TV customers:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Connect your router to your STB with the ethernet cable provided<\/li>\n
      2. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your STB and the other end to your TV<\/li>\n
      3. Your STB begins the activation process.<\/li>\n
      4. A message pops up on your screen to show you the STB’s progress.\n
          \n
        • If you don’t see the message, you’ll see a technical support number to call.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • When the lights turn green, your service is activated. When you see a Frontier logo on your TV, you’re ready to watch.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          To activate Anonymous Call Rejection\/ Anonymous Call Block <\/span><\/h2>\n

          1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.<\/p>\n

          2. Press 7 7 (Rotary dial 1.1.7.7).<\/p>\n

          3. A recording or confirmation tone will tell you that your Anonymous Call Rejection\/Anonymous Call Block is on.<\/p>\n

          To activate Busy Redial <\/span><\/h2>\n

          1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.<\/p>\n

          2. Press 6 6 (Rotary dial 1.1.6.6).<\/p>\n

          3. You will hear two normal ringing tones or an announcement. If the called number is still busy, a voice recording will tell you that your call is next in line.<\/p>\n

          4. Hang up.<\/p>\n

          5. When the number you called is no longer busy, your telephone will ring with a series of short-short-long rings.<\/p>\n

          6. Lift the handset and the call will be connected. You will hear normal ringing tones.<\/p>\n

          \"Gaming\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

          To activate Call Block<\/span><\/h2>\n

          1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.<\/p>\n

          2. Press 6 0 (Rotary dial 1.1.6.0).<\/p>\n

          3. Listen to the voice-recorded instructions for Call Block options. The phone numbers you enter on your Call Block list will be repeated to you.<\/p>\n

          4. The number of the last person who called you may be added to your Call Block list by following the voice-recorded instructions. If you want to add to your list, or if your list is full, simply follow the voice recorded instructions.<\/p>\n

          To activate Call Forwarding<\/span><\/h2>\n

          1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.<\/p>\n

          2. Press 7 2 (Rotary dial 1.1.7.2).<\/p>\n

          3. At the tone, dial the telephone number that you want your calls forwarded to.<\/p>\n

          4. When the call is answered, the feature has been activated.<\/p>\n

          5. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes. You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated. Then hang up.<\/p>\n

          To activate Call Trace<\/span><\/h2>\n

          1. Hang up (or press and release the switchhook).<\/p>\n

          2. Lift handset and listen for a dial tone.<\/p>\n

          3. Press 5 7 (rotary phones dial 1.1.5.7) and follow the voice-recorded instructions.<\/p>\n

          4. Stay on the line and listen for a recording that tells you if Call Trace was activated and if the call was successfully traced.<\/p>\n

          5. Once you have successfully traced the required number of calls (differs by area), contact your local law enforcement agency and obtain a complaint number.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
