Locate Your Card:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Your Food Stamp card should have arrived in the mail along with a letter explaining your benefits and how to use the card.<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019ve lost your card or it\u2019s been stolen, contact your local Department of Social Services to request a replacement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>2. Activation Process:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Call the customer service number on the back of your card.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the prompts to enter your card number, date of birth, and other personal information.<\/li>\n<li>Once completed, your card will be activated, and you can start using it to buy groceries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I check my Food Stamp balance?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To\u00a0<strong>check your Food Stamp (SNAP) balance<\/strong>, you have a few options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Online:<\/strong>\u00a0Visit your state\u2019s SNAP or EBT website and sign in using your EBT card number, security code, and PIN.\u00a0You can view your balance there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mobile App:<\/strong>\u00a0If available in your state, download the ConnectEBT mobile app.\u00a0It allows you to check your benefits easily from your phone.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phone:<\/strong>\u00a0Call your state\u2019s SNAP customer service line.\u00a0They can assist you with your balance if online or mobile options aren\u2019t available for your program<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How much will my child\/children receive in P-EBT food benefits?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Eligible children will receive P-EBT food benefits based on the number of days their school has reported that it was closed, or that in-person attendance was reduced due to\u00a0<span class=\"notranslate\">COVID-19<\/span>. There are two different amounts that an eligible child may receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Children whose schools reported that their in-person school attendance was reduced by 1 to 12 days during a month, will receive $82 in P-EBT food benefits for that month.<\/li>\n<li>Children whose schools reported that their in-person school attendance was reduced for more than 12 days during a month, will receive $132 in P-EBT food benefits for that month.<\/li>\n<li>Children whose schools reported that their in-person attendance was not reduced during a month due to COVID will not receive a benefit for that month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How To Activate Food Stamp Card :<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>1) Using a touch-tone phone, dial 1-888-328-6399.<\/p>\n<p>2) When prompted, select your preferred language\u2013 for example, press \u20181\u2019 for English.<\/p>\n<p>3) Next, enter the 19-digit number from the front of the card using your phone\u2019s keypad<\/p>\n<p>4) After entering the card number, you will hear a series of options. If you have not used the card before to access P-EBT food benefits, press \u20181\u2019 to create your PIN<\/p>\n<p>5) You will be asked to provide the last four digits of the cardholder\u2019s Social Security Number. (The cardholder is the child whose name is printed on the front of the P-EBT Food Benefit card.)Do NOT enter the last four digits of the child\u2019s Social Security Number<\/p>\n<p>Instead you must enter the two-digit month and two-digit day of the child\u2019s birthday (MM\/DD). For example, if the child\u2019s birthday is July 4, enter 0704. *Be sure to enter the child\u2019s actual birthday and not the fake birthday printed on the front of the card.<\/p>\n<p>6) After entering the child\u2019s birthday information, you\u2019ll be asked to enter your zip code.<\/p>\n<p>7) Finally, select your new 4-digit PIN by entering a 4-digit number using your phone\u2019s keypad. Food benefits will be issued as monthly in-person school attendance information provided by schools and school districts is reviewed and processed. Ordering a replacement card will\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0result in receiving your child(ren)\u2019s P-EBT food benefits faster and, in some cases, may delay access to your child(ren)\u2019s benefits<\/p>\n<p>You can order a replacement P-EBT Food Benefit card by calling\u00a0<strong>1-888-328-6399<\/strong>. Please be prepared to provide security information, including the 19-digit card number that was printed on the front of the P-EBT Food Benefit card you are replacing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you do not have that number, you will be asked for the cardholder\u2019s Social Security Number; however, when ordering a replacement P-EBT Food Benefit card (and only when ordering a P-EBT Food Benefit card), you must enter 999-99 and then the 2-digit month and 2-digit day (MM\/DD) of the cardholder\u2019s birthday.\n<ul>\n<li>For example, if your child\u2019s date of birth is July 4, you would enter 999-99-0704 when asked for his\/her social security number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will then be asked to verify the cardholder\u2019s 8-digit birthday (MM\/DD\/YYYY) and to enter the 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) you selected for the P-EBT food benefit card that you are replacing.
