Here&#8217;s a step-by-step guide:<\/h3>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:32\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>1. Get the Activation Code:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"5:1-6:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"5:1-6:0\"><strong>On your Smart TV or Device:<\/strong> Open the 10 Play app. You&#8217;ll usually find an &#8220;Activate&#8221; option in the app&#8217;s menu. This will display a unique activation code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:34\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>2. Once you have entered your details a verification email will be sent to you by Network Ten titled &#8216;Verify your Account&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t see the verification email, double check your junk or spam folder, some email providers may block these emails<\/p>\n<p>Once you open your email and click &#8216;Verify Account&#8217; you will be directed to the below page. Click the Activate Your TV button and sign in.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have successfully signed in you will be shown a screen similar to the below. Enter the code that is displayed on your TV. The code is not case sensitive meaning you can use either upper-case or lower-case alphabets.<\/p>\n<p>Press activate once you have entered the activation code on your TV. If you get\u00a0\u2018The provided code is invalid\u2019\u00a0error, please check to ensure the code displayed on the TV matches what you have entered. This code is only valid for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, a new code is automatically generated on your TV. Try pressing back on your TV remote and press on a member restricted video to generate a new code.<\/p>\n<p>Once the device has been successfully activated, you will be shown the below screen.<\/p>\n<p>On your TV, we will automatically sign you in within 10 seconds and start playing your content. If video playback hasn\u2019t started on your TV, check to make sure you are still connected to the internet. Alternatively, you can generate a new code by pressing back on your TV remote and clicking on a member restricted video to generate a new code. By default, this is enabled by apple.<\/p>\n<p>Toggle this setting to disable and return to\u00a0https:\/\/10play.com.au\/activate\u00a0to sign-in using your social account.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-row c-article-row\">\n<h2 id=\"sol-article-16000112721\" class=\"ellipsis article-title\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a class=\"c-link\" style=\"color: #800000;\">Captions on Live TV<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"description-text\">\n<p>You asked and we listened! Captions are now available on 10 play Live TV for web and some Telstra TV models.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Web Users<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To turn captions on for web you&#8217;ll need to be watching Live TV on either 10, 10 Peach or 10 Bold. Once you&#8217;ve started live streaming, click the three vertical dots in the bottom right-hand corner of the video. A captions tab will then appear.<\/p>\n<p>This will be turned off by default, to turn it on, simply click the tab and select English.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Telstra TV Users<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Captions for Live TV can be activated and deactivated \u00a0from the settings of your Roku device.<\/p>\n<p>1. Press the<strong>\u00a0home<\/strong>\u00a0button on your Roku device<\/p>\n<p>2. Scroll up or down and select\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3. To open the captions menu, select<strong>\u00a0Accessibility<\/strong>. If Accessibility is not listed, select\u00a0<strong>Captions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4. Select\u00a0<strong>Captions mode<\/strong>\u00a0and choose when captions appear.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Off<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; captions never appear<\/li>\n<li><strong>On<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; captions always appear (with content that has closed captions available).<\/li>\n<li><strong>On replay<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; captions appear only after pressing the\u00a0<strong>Replay<\/strong>\u00a0button on your Roku remote (with content that supports instant replay).<\/li>\n<li><strong>When mute<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; captions appear only when volume is muted. Note: this is not available on all Roku devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When captions are turned on or off during playback, the setting is retained for future programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:\u00a0<\/strong>Unfortunately, not all programs on 10 play have captions, however, we&#8217;ll continue to add them to more programs and devices as they become available.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Apple TV Users\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Captions for Live TV can be activated and deactivated by interacting with the touchpad on your remote and bringing up the information screen.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have done this, move your focus to the CC icon and click it to either turn the captions ON or OFF (there is an indication that will tell you if they are ON or OFF).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To activate 10 Play on Apple or Android TV, download\u00a0 10Play App on your TV and then login into www.10play.com.au\/activate.
