As of 31 March 2021, the U.K. background screening business of GBG has been acquired by First Advantage, a leading global provider of technology solutions for background screening. Your Online Disclosures experience will not be impacted.<\/p>\n

Accessing OnlineDisclosures<\/span><\/h2>\n

For the first time<\/h3>\n

Once you have received an activation email you will be able to create a password unique to you, to do this follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Open the activation email<\/p>\n

2. Click the activation link within the email<\/p>\n

3. Create and confirm a secure password<\/p>\n

You will be taken straight into the Online Disclosures site.<\/p>\n

Signing In<\/span><\/h2>\n

Once you have created a password, to access OnlineDisclosures in the future, you simply sign in:<\/p>\n

1. Enter the Org Pin<\/p>\n

2. Enter the email address the activation email was sent to<\/p>\n

3. Enter the password you created<\/p>\n

4. Click Sign In<\/p>\n

Navigating Organisation Branches <\/span><\/h2>\n

If you are a multiple branch organisation and need to locate a particular branch, follow these steps:<\/h3>\n

1. Click the Organisation tab<\/p>\n

2. Click Navigate organisations<\/p>\n

3. Click the relevant Organisation branch<\/p>\n

4. Click on the name or the organisation level, you wish to view<\/p>\n

5. Click View organisation.<\/p>\n

The highlighted name is the organisation that will open<\/p>\n

To be able to view a particular branch, you must have permission to do so.<\/p>\n

Creating an Applicant <\/span><\/h2>\n

To add an applicant, ensure you are in the correct organisation branch (see above) and follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Click on Organisation Tab<\/p>\n

2. Click Organisation Actions<\/p>\n

3. Click Create Online Applicant<\/p>\n

4. Enter the Applicants name and email address<\/p>\n

5. Click Create applicant. An activation email will be sent to the email address provided.<\/p>\n

Re-sending an Activation Email<\/span><\/h2>\n

If the applicant cannot locate the email or has deleted it in error .<\/p>\n

Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Click the Organisation tab<\/p>\n

2. Click on Organisation actions<\/p>\n

3. Click Non-Activated users<\/p>\n

4. Select the relevant applicant<\/p>\n

5. Click Re-send Activation Email<\/p>\n

Creating Disclosure Managers\/Verifiers<\/span><\/h2>\n

To add a DM or Verifier, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Click on the Organisation Tab<\/p>\n

2. Click Organisation Actions<\/p>\n

3. Select either Create Disclosure Manager OR Create verifier<\/p>\n

4. Enter the individuals\u2019 full name and email.<\/p>\n

5. Click Save<\/p>\n

Viewing the outcome of the check (Master Disclosure Manager & Disclosure Manager Only) <\/span><\/h2>\n

To view the outcome of a check, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Ensure that you are within the Applications tab. If not Click Applications Tab<\/p>\n

2. Click the Complete Tab<\/p>\n

3. Click on the applicant you wish to see the outcome for<\/p>\n
