Depending on your circumstances (for instance, whether you\u2019re a U.S. citizen or what tax form you used), you might need the following information or documents as you fill out the application:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters justify-content-between\">\n<div class=\"col\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Your Social Security number (it\u2019s important that you enter it correctly on the FAFSA form!)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Your parents\u2019 Social Security numbers if you are a\u00a0dependent student<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Your driver\u2019s license number if you have one<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Your Alien Registration number if you are not a U.S. citizen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p>Federal tax information or tax returns including IRS W-2 information, for you (and your spouse, if you are married), and for your parents if you are a dependent student:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IRS 1040<\/li>\n<li>Foreign tax return, IRS 1040NR, or IRS 1040NR-EZ<\/li>\n<li>Tax return for Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, or Palau<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Records of your untaxed income, such as child support received, interest income, and veterans noneducation benefits, for you, and for your parents if you are a dependent student<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"row no-gutters\">\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Information on cash;
