You can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/nhs-services\/gps\/how-to-register-with-a-gp-surgery\/\">register with a GP<\/a>\u00a0if you do not have one.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"nhsuk-do-dont-list__label\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">You can book these online:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul class=\"nhsuk-list nhsuk-list--tick\">\n<li>\n<p data-block-key=\"rs9d1\">1st and 2nd doses for people aged 5 years old and over<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-block-key=\"6lw6d\">boosters for people aged 16 years old and over, plus at-risk children aged 12 to 15 years old<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-block-key=\"wo10u\">spring boosters for people aged 75 years old and over, plus people aged 12 years old and over with a weakened immune system<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-block-key=\"6lw6d\">additional primary doses for people with a severely weakened immune system aged 12 years old and over<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"h3fhf\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How it works<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"ic5r\">We&#8217;ll ask you some questions and offer an appointment based on your previous vaccinations and the answers you give us.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nhsuk-inset-text\"><span class=\"nhsuk-u-visually-hidden\">Information:<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"lkfx2\">You can book for someone else, such as your child or someone you care for, if you have their consent. You&#8217;ll need to enter their details when booking.<\/p>\n<h3 data-block-key=\"lkfx2\"><span class=\"nhsuk-details__summary-text\">1st or 2nd doses<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"nhsuk-details__text\">\n<p data-block-key=\"oqkqw\">You can use this service to book a 1st or 2nd dose of the vaccine if you or your child are aged 5 years old or over.<\/p>\n<h3 data-block-key=\"wzyy7\">When you can book a 2nd dose<\/h3>\n<p data-block-key=\"6u85o\">You should be able to book a 2nd dose on the day after your 1st dose. If you or your child are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"5gvat\">18 years old or over &#8211; you&#8217;ll be offered 2nd dose appointments from 8 weeks (56 days) after your 1st dose<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"c4pfj\">under 18 years old &#8211; you&#8217;ll be offered 2nd dose appointments from 12 weeks (84 days) after your 1st dose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-block-key=\"2s9k7\">How to get an earlier 2nd dose if you&#8217;re under 18 years old and at-risk<\/h4>\n<p data-block-key=\"154ih\">If you or your child are under 18 years old and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/coronavirus-covid-19\/people-at-higher-risk\/who-is-at-high-risk-from-coronavirus\/\">at high risk from COVID-19<\/a>, you&#8217;re eligible for a 2nd dose from 8 weeks after your 1st dose.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"b8gs7\">However, this service will only offer you appointments from 12 weeks after your 1st dose.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"7eqk3\">To get your 2nd dose from 8 weeks, please either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"f5vti\">contact your GP surgery<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"4k8ap\">go to a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/coronavirus-covid-19\/coronavirus-vaccination\/find-a-walk-in-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccination-site\/\">walk-in site<\/a>\u00a0with a letter from a GP that says you&#8217;re eligible for a 2nd dose from 8 weeks after your 1st dose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-block-key=\"3n6m1\">Advice for children aged 5 to 15 years old and their parents or guardians<\/h3>\n<p data-block-key=\"e8op9\">A set of resources are available on GOV.UK in a variety of languages, Braille and Easy Read.<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"oqkqw\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Boosters<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"3aen9\">You can use this service to book a booster dose if you or your child are either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"al2c0\">aged 16 years old or over<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"ps3k\">aged 12 to 15 years old with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/coronavirus-covid-19\/people-at-higher-risk\/who-is-at-high-risk-from-coronavirus\/\">a condition that means they&#8217;re at high risk from COVID-19<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-block-key=\"70tqs\">You&#8217;ll be able to book a booster dose when it&#8217;s been 2 months (61 days) since your 2nd dose.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"c1m8l\">The appointment dates you&#8217;ll be offered will start from 3 months (91 days) after your 2nd dose.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"c1m8l\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-787 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Covid-Vaccine-Lottery.jpg\" alt=\"Covid Vaccine Lottery\" width=\"372\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seminarsonly.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Covid-Vaccine-Lottery.jpg 372w, https:\/\/seminarsonly.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Covid-Vaccine-Lottery-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 372px) 100vw, 372px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"8j38f\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Spring boosters<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"ol3l\">You can use this service to book a spring booster if you or your child are either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"2k85j\">aged 75 years old or over<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"1ij86\">aged 12 years old or over with a weakened immune system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-block-key=\"4pq1g\">People are advised to wait 6 months since their previous dose to get maximum protection from a spring booster.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"eps05\">You&#8217;ll usually be contacted by the NHS, inviting you to book when it&#8217;s due.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"d3aue\">The appointment dates you&#8217;ll be offered start from 3 months (91 days) after your previous dose, but booking an appointment around 6 months after your previous dose is preferable.<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-key=\"h3fhf\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Manage your appointment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-block-key=\"d0569\">If you already have an appointment booked, you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"bi3r0\">view your appointment<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"bjbuo\">cancel or amend your appointment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>www nhs.uk\/book-covid-booster : Book or manage a coronavirus vaccination NHS UK Use this service to book a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or booster dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine or manage&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-29698","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.2 (Yoast SEO v27.2) -
