Straight Talk has only been in operation for less than five years, but they have quickly become one of the largest players in the cell phone plan market thanks to their mission: \u201cProviding the best experience at an amazing price.\u201d Straight Talk is most well known for their no contract cell phone plans, with \u201call inclusive\u201d plans with no contract that are under $50 a month. Straight Talk\u2019s lineup of phones includes the latest devices like the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 6<\/p>\n

To port-in (transfer) your current phone number to Straight Talk, you must follow the steps below:<\/p>\n

  1. The phone number you are trying to port MUST BE active with your current service provider.<\/li>\n
  2. You must submit a port-in request. You can do this by going to\u00a0www.straighttalk.com\/Activate<\/a>. Fill out all the required information to begin the process.<\/li>\n
  3. Once you complete the request, the transferring process will begin. This can take a few hours; however, it can take up to 7 days. If this is a landline, it can take up to 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You will know the process is complete when your old phone stops working.<\/p>\n

    If you don’t already have a phone number, click the “Activate me NOW” button, and STAR (our automated assistant) will guide you through the Activation process.<\/em><\/p>\n

    \u00a0How do I Activate my Straight Talk phone with a telephone number issued by another company?<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

    You may transfer your telephone number from another company to Straight Talk. To port in your existing telephone number to your Straight Talk phone, the number you are porting must be active with your current service provider.<\/p>\n

    You need to request Straight Talk to port in your number, Straight Talk will process your request in your behalf. In order to request the transfer and initiate the activation process please go to\u00a0www.straighttalk.com\/Activate, and select the radio button option “Activate my phone with a number transferred from another company.”<\/p>\n

    The transferring of your number to a new Straight Talk might take a few hours; however, if there are any delays from your current wireless carrier, the transfer process could take up to 7 days and in the case of landline numbers, transfers may take up to 30 days.<\/p>\n

    Your new Straight Talk will be ready to complete activation when your old phone stops working.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    For customers who have decided to find out what all the hype is about, activating a Straight Talk device couldn\u2019t be easier.
