{"id":28636,"date":"2022-05-06T16:05:04","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T10:35:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/?p=28636"},"modified":"2022-05-06T16:05:04","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T10:35:04","slug":"google-ad-manager-rolling-out-optimized-pricing-to-all-publishers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seminarsonly.com\/news\/google-ad-manager-rolling-out-optimized-pricing-to-all-publishers\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Ad Manager Rolling out Optimized Pricing to all Publishers"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Google Ad Manager Rolling out Optimized Pricing to all Publishers<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On 05 June 2022, we will begin rolling out Optimized Pricing, an optional feature that can help protect the long term value of your inventory.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How Optimized Pricing works<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Optimized Pricing works to protect the value of your inventory by using machine learning to intelligently increase auction floor prices to more accurately reflect your inventory\u2019s value, thereby preventing buyers from being able to purchase it for less than it&#8217;s worth.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, Optimized Pricing looks for queries where the auction floor price does not accurately reflect the value bidders might place on your inventory. In those instances, it automatically and uniformly increases the floor shared with all bidders, and applied in the auction, to protect the long term value of that inventory. In doing so, Optimized Pricing may increase the price paid for your inventory (i.e. CPM) without compromising your overall yield.<\/p>\n<p>Optimized Pricing will never set a floor price lower than what you\u2019ve configured via Unified Pricing Rules, allowing you to maintain control of your floor prices while knowing that you\u2019re protected if they\u2019re set too low.<\/p>\n<p>Optimized Pricing will initially launch on a subset of web traffic, and will gradually roll out to more traffic over time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cmsphoto.ww-cdn.com\/superstatic\/41269\/art\/grande\/6280798-9471146.jpg?v=1589364624.126227\" width=\"576\" height=\"384\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How to enable \/ disable Optimized Pricing<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Optimized Pricing will be enabled by default.
