A quick guide on how to display and switch slideshows on your office TVs to see your dashboards, notifications, contests, and other media.<\/p>\n

Connect your Plecto slideshow to a smart device. All you need is to open Plecto on your TV and add an activation code in Plecto to connect a slideshow.<\/p>\n

Activate your TV with a four-digit code<\/span><\/h2>\n

To display a slideshow on a smart TV, you can activate it with a four-digit code.<\/p>\n

  1. Open\u00a0http:\/\/tv.plecto.com\/<\/b><\/a>\u00a0on your smart TV.<\/li>\n
  2. Get your computer and open Plecto. Go to\u00a0Visualization<\/b>\u00a0>\u00a0Slideshows<\/b>\u00a0>\u00a0Activate TV<\/b><\/a>. All further steps are done from this page.<\/li>\n
  3. Choose the slideshow you want to add to the TV.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the four-digit code you see on your TV screen (from step 1).<\/li>\n
  5. Name your device under “TV name<\/b>.”<\/li>\n
  6. Click “Activate TV<\/b>” to finish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Activate with a QR code<\/span><\/h2>\n

    You can also activate the smart TV by scanning a QR code with your phone. This option allows you to save time in case you need to connect slideshows to multiple devices, as you do not have to manually input the four-digit code on each separate device.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Be aware<\/b>: You need to be signed in to the\u00a0Plecto app\u00a0on your mobile phone or logged in from your mobile browser to succeed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    1. Open the\u00a0http:\/\/tv.plecto.com\/<\/b><\/a>\u00a0page on your smart TV. You will see a QR code at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n
    2. Scan the QR with the camera app (iOS) or the QR code scanner (Android) on your phone.<\/li>\n
    3. A notification “Open<\/b>\u00a0‘app.plecto.com<\/b>‘\u00a0link<\/b>” will appear on your phone.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the notification – it will redirect you to the\u00a0Activate TV<\/b><\/a>\u00a0page.<\/li>\n
    5. You can now see the four-digit code is already there. Now choose the slideshow you want to show on the TV and give your TV a name.<\/li>\n
    6. Click “Activate TV<\/b>” to finish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Once your device is activated, Plecto will remember it and display your slideshow automatically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Tip<\/b>: If you have LG or Samsung TVs in your office, you can\u00a0install the Plecto TV apps<\/b> to make displaying slideshows on TVs easier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      Switch slideshows on TV<\/span><\/h2>\n

      If you want to show a different slideshow than the one displayed currently, you can deactivate the TV from your account and activate it again with another slideshow:<\/p>\n

      1. Open Plecto and click on the employee name in the bottom-left corner to open\u00a0account settings<\/b><\/a>.<\/li>\n
      2. The section “My devices<\/b>” displays all the devices connected to this account. To remove a device, click “X<\/b>” in its top-right corner.<\/li>\n
      3. Click “Save<\/b>” to finish.<\/li>\n
      4. You can now repeat the activation steps and activate your TV with a different slideshow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

        We recommend using modern and updated browsers such as Google Chrome or Safari when viewing slideshows on a PC or casting them on a TV.<\/p>\n
