How To Change Your Display Name on Roblox: Express Yourself with Display Names on Roblox<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Now there\u2019s a whole new way to express your identity on Roblox\u2014with Display Names! These work a little differently from your username:<\/p>\n

Usernames<\/b>\u00a0are unique to your account and are prefixed with an \u201c@,\u201d so that you can always uniquely identify someone. If your username is @CoolCat43122, you\u2019re the only @CoolCat43122 around. Usernames are used to log in and to help find specific people on the platform.<\/p>\n

Display Names<\/b>\u00a0are\u00a0not<\/em>\u00a0unique and are free to change every seven days. They appear in places such as your profile, chat, search, people lists, or over your avatar\u2019s head whenever you visit an experience. If you choose not to set a Display Name, you\u2019ll default to your username.<\/p>\n

<\/b>To change your Display Name:<\/h3>\n

  1. Go to your\u00a0Account Info<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Find \u201cDisplay Name\u201d and click the edit icon.<\/li>\n
  3. Change your Display Name and hit \u201cSave.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Tada! You have your new Display Name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
