prompted):<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text parbase\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p><strong>Deactivate or Suspend Activation:<\/strong>\u00a0Temporarily deactivates the app, but retains licensing information on your computer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deactivate permanently<\/strong>: Removes the licensing information from your computer and requires you enter a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/download-install\/kb\/find-serial-number.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-disable-query=\"false\">serial number<\/a>\u00a0to activate again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"header parbase section\">\n<div class=\"header  header-top\">\n<h2 id=\"Switchingtoanewcomputer\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Switching to a new computer?<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text parbase section\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>If you bought a new computer and want to transfer your apps to it, simply deactivate your apps from the old computer so that you can use them on the new computer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text parbase section\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p><strong>Uninstalled or deleted your app?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uninstalling\u00a0or\u00a0deleting\u00a0the app from the old computer or\u00a0formatting\u00a0the computer does not deactivate the app.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text parbase section\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p><strong>Old computer no longer available?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the computer on which you installed the product is no longer available (for example you have lost the computer or formatted the hard drive or the hard drive has crashed), you can deactivate your apps from the\u00a0account management\u00a0page. Then install the apps on the new computer and follow the onscreen instructions.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Phone activation<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can activate your product via the Internet or by phone, either with a live customer service representative or through the 24-hour automated voice response system.
