To activate your Epic Games account, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1. Visit the Epic Games activation page at https:\/\/www.epicgames.com\/id\/activate<\/a> <\/strong>on your smartphone or computer.<\/p>\n

2. Enter the code<\/strong> displayed on your console screen.<\/p>\n

3. Click \u201cContinue<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Sign in to your Epic Games<\/strong> account.<\/p>\n

5. A confirmation message will appear, and you\u2019ll be all set to enjoy the best games, offers, and rewards!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You don’t need a product key to activate games that you purchase directly from the Epic Games<\/strong> Store.<\/p>\n

If you purchased a game from the Epic Games Store website, it\u2019ll be available for download in the\u00a0Library\u00a0<\/strong>section of your Epic Games Launcher.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t already have the Epic Games Launcher, you can download it\u00a0here\u00a0<\/a>by clicking the\u00a0Download\u00a0button in the top right corner of the page.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

2. Download the Epic Games Launcher.<\/p>\n

3. Redeeming your own Epic Games keys.<\/p>\n

To redeem your merchandise keys into Epic Games, then you can either redeem them through The Epic Games Redemption webpage or follow these steps to redeem for the Epic Games launcher right<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Navigate into your download page, and then click on the Redeem your Epic Games main button. This may create your Epic Games product essential for registering for your accounts.<\/p>\n

TIP: If you haven’t received your download webpage however, consider using the Order Resender instrument<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

1. Next, Choose the Whole key, and copy it to your clipboard.<\/p>\n

2. As Soon as You have set up the Epic Games Launcher, start the customer and enter your login credentials. Whenever you’re logged in to your account, click on your username at the left corner of this launcher.<\/p>\n

    Use your backup codes<\/span><\/h2>\n

    When you first enabled 2FA with an Authenticator app you are provided a list of backup codes for your account. If you kept track of those codes, you can use any one of them to regain access to your account:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. On the 2FA prompt, click\u00a0Try another way<\/strong>.

      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Select\u00a0Enter your Two-Factor verification backup codes.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Enter your 8 digit backup code<\/li>\n
    4. After you enter the code you will be logged into your account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If you were locked out of your account because you changed your phone number, you can follow the steps\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0to update the phone number on your account.<\/p>\n

      Change your phone number for 2FA via SMS<\/span><\/h2>\n

      If you want to change the phone number that receives the SMS codes, here is how to do it:<\/p>\n

        After you have logged into your account, go to the\u00a0Password & Security\u00a0section of your Account management page.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

        Turn off the SMS Authentication and click\u00a0proceed<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n
