To activate your Mint mobile SIM online, visit mintmobile.com\/activate. Enter the 11-digit Activation Code conveniently located on the back of your SIM card (top right corner). Follow the steps on screen, they will guide you.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re activating your eSIM through the Mint app, it will walk you through the installation. If you\u2019re activating through the web, it\u2019s pretty easy, and we walk you through the steps. Once you purchase your plan and select an \u2018eSIM delivery\u2019 then you can choose to either activate your plan right away, or activate later in two easy steps\u2026<\/p>\n

1. Activate your plan<\/b>\u2013<\/span><\/h3>\n

On the order confirmation page there will be a large orange button which says \u2018Activate now<\/strong>\u2019. Hit this if you wish to activate your plan immediately after purchase. If you want to wait, no problem. We will email you with the same link to activate at your leisure.<\/p>\n

2. Install your eSIM<\/b>\u2013<\/span><\/h3>\n

Once your plan is activated<\/strong>, then you will need to install<\/strong> the eSIM onto the eligible phone you will be using Mint on. To do this, you will scan the QR code<\/strong> that appears on screen after you activate your plan. If you close the screen before scanning, again no problem. We\u2019ll be following up with an email that will contain the QR code<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019re ready to make it official, all you need to do is select which plan fits your needs and upgrade your plan directly in the Mint Mobile app. To transfer your current phone number to Mint, simply select the option \u2018Transfer My Number\u2019 when you purchase your plan.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Here are a few things you will need from your old carrier:<\/p>\n
