Microsoft Redeem Code March 2022 : Redeem a gift card or code to your Microsoft account<\/span><\/h2>\n

Both the Microsoft and Xbox cards work just the same. Once redeemed to your Microsoft account, you can spend your balance at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, and on Xbox. You can get the latest apps, games, movies, TV shows, and Surface, Xbox, and accessories.<\/p>\n

Gift cards do not currently work at physical Microsoft Stores.<\/p>\n

You currently cannot buy Microsoft 365 with a gift card.<\/p>\n

How to redeem a gift card or code online<\/span><\/h2>\n

The easiest way to redeem a gift card or code is online. Sign in to\u00a0redeem.microsoft.com<\/a>\u00a0with your Microsoft account, enter the 25-character code, and then select\u00a0Next.<\/b><\/p>\n

Important:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • If you or your family have multiple Microsoft accounts, make sure you’re signed in to the one to which you want to apply the gift card or code. Money can’t be transferred from one Microsoft account to another and can’t be converted from one currency to another.<\/li>\n
  • Try signing in to your Microsoft account using an InPrivate browser session to clear all other Microsoft account info from the cache.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    If you want, you can also redeem\u00a0a card or code from Microsoft Store on a Windows 10 device.<\/p>\n

    How to redeem a gift card or code from Microsoft Store on a Windows 10 device<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Here’s how to redeem a gift card or code from Microsoft Store on a Windows 10 device:<\/p>\n

    1. On your Windows 10 device, select\u00a0Microsoft Store\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0on the taskbar.<\/li>\n
    2. In Microsoft Store, select\u00a0the\u00a0See more\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>menu\u00a0(located next to the\u00a0Search\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0box on the upper right side of the page).<\/li>\n
    3. Select\u00a0Redeem a code<\/b>. If you aren’t already signed in, sign in to the Microsoft account on which you want to redeem the code.<\/li>\n
    4. Enter the 25-character code, and then select\u00a0Redeem<\/b>. Don\u2019t worry about hyphens, the system takes care of those for you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How can I tell if my card or code was redeemed?<\/span><\/h2>\n

      To see if your card or code was redeemed, check your\u00a0order history. On the Order history page, look for the date that you redeemed the card or code, and you\u2019ll see the order number and how the card or code was used. If you see\u00a0Redeemed code<\/b>\u00a0under\u00a0Payment method<\/b>, the card or code was successfully redeemed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

      What happens after I redeem my gift card or code?<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • If the card or code has money on it, we’ll apply the entire balance to your Microsoft account. You can use it to buy things from Microsoft Store online, on Windows\u00a010, and on Xbox One.<\/li>\n
      • If the card or code is for a specific app or game, we’ll add it to your personal library, where you can download and install it. Go to\u00a0My Library\u00a0in Microsoft Store. When some apps or games are redeemed, they will take you to the product page where you can also download and install.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        A passkey is an added layer of security that you can use as a quicker alternative to your Microsoft email and password<\/span><\/div>\n
        When you create a personal passkey, you get the following benefits:-<\/span><\/div>\n

        • A passkey protects against a child account signing in as the parent and overriding parental controls.<\/strong>\u00a0A personal passkey prevents a child from signing in as the parent and changing the child account\u2019s settings.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • A passkey helps to prevent unauthorised charges.<\/strong>\u00a0You can require a passkey to make any purchase on the Microsoft Store.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • A passkey allows the parent to grant content exceptions.<\/strong>\u00a0The only way for a parent to override a content limitation is by entering his or her personal passkey.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Your passkey roams with you.<\/strong>\u00a0The passkey that you set on your profile follows you to any Xbox console that you use.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • A forgotten passkey defaults to your Microsoft account password.<\/strong> If you forget your passkey, the console defaults to requesting your Microsoft account password as a fail-safe<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
