How to refund and return items and outfits in Fortnite<\/span><\/h2>\n

We know that sometimes you might buy something on a whim and then regret it a few days later. This is why every account is given (3) three refund tokens!<\/p>\n

You can use your three tokens to return items purchased from the Fortnite Item Shop. Using one will remove the item you select and return the V-Bucks to you.<\/p>\n

Not sure how to use your refund token? Read below or check out the video for step by step instructions!<\/p>\n

To refund or return an item or outfit, do the following:<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Open the\u00a0Main Menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click the Settings gear icon.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the silhouette icon to open the\u00a0Account And Privacy<\/strong>\u00a0settings page.<\/li>\n
  4. Click\u00a0Submit a Request<\/strong>. This will bring up a list of all of the items you purchased in-game within the past 30 days.<\/li>\n
  5. Find and select the item you want to return and select it in the list.<\/li>\n
  6. Next, select the reason you want to return the item.
    \nThis will bring you to a summary screen where you can submit your request.<\/li>\n
  7. Click\u00a0Submit Return Request<\/strong>.
    \nA final confirmation screen will pop up warning you that you only have three lifetime return requests.<\/li>\n
  8. If you are sure that you want to proceed, click\u00a0Yes<\/strong>.
    \nYou will then see the\u00a0Return Request Approved<\/strong>\u00a0screen, which will tell you how many V-Bucks have been credited to your account.
    \nNote:<\/strong>\u00a0This action cannot be undone once you click Yes<\/li>\n
  9. Click\u00a0OK\u00a0<\/strong>to return to the\u00a0Account And Privacy<\/strong>\u00a0settings page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    And that’s it\u2014your purchase will be removed and the V-Bucks will be returned to your account. \u00a0Please be aware that you can only return a total of three items using this method. Consumable items are not eligible for returns. See the list below for what items can be returned!<\/p>\n

      • Starter Pack<\/li>\n
      • Loot Llamas (Save the World)<\/li>\n
      • Event and Weekly Items (Save the World)<\/li>\n
      • Gifts<\/li>\n
      • Fortnite Crew Subscriptions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Can I have more Return tickets?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        With the launch of patch 18.2, players will be granted a new refund ticket once every 365 days after the last ticket refresh. With this update players will be able to get new refund tickets each year!<\/p>\n

        Outside of this update additional tickets can not be granted.<\/p>\n

        How long do I have to return an eligible purchase?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        You have 30 days from the purchase to return an eligible purchase.<\/p>\n

        Why can\u2019t I return the Battle Pass?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        Battle Passes are consumable account upgrades that grant you access to an experience as well as bonus content.<\/p>\n

        Why can\u2019t I return a Starter Pack?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        Starter packs are purchased with real money so it is not eligible for a return.<\/p>\n

        Why can\u2019t I return Loot Llamas?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
