How To Activate Doordash Red Card : Doordash Promo Code & Coupon Codes<\/span><\/h2>\n

To activate your Doordash Red Card, sign up to be a Dasher and indicate your preferred Orientation method in the Activation Kit (if applicable). Please note that once you’ve activated your physical card, your virtual card will automatically close.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Dashers can pay for some (but not all) of their DoorDash orders with the Red Card, which is a credit card.At the beginning of training or when an Activation Kit is given out, each Dasher is given a Red Card.<\/p>\n

Note: your earnings will not be deposited on the Red Card, and it is not linked to your bank account.

Setting up Red Card on iOS:<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

  1. In the Dasher app, tap\u00a0Account<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. On the top of the next page, tap the red-colored link that states\u00a0Did DoorDash give you a payment card?<\/strong><\/li>\n

    How To Activate Doordash Red Card :<\/span><\/h2>\n

    If you haven’t logged into your DasherDirect mobile app yet:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Install the DasherDirect app and tap ‘Get Started’<\/li>\n
    2. Follow the instructions until prompted to activate your card<\/li>\n
    3. Scan the square QR code on the front of the instructions that came with your DasherDirect card, or manually enter the card’s last 4 digits and expiration date (MM\/YY)<\/li>\n
    4. Create a PIN for your new DasherDirect card – remember to keep your PIN secure, do not write it down or share it with anyone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If you have already logged into the DasherDirect app:<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. From the main menu, tap ‘Manage card’ and then tap ‘Activate your card’<\/li>\n
      2. Manually enter the card’s last 4 digits and expiration date (MM\/YY), or scan the square QR code on the front of the instructions that came with your DasherDirect card.<\/li>\n

        Remember, your virtual card can be used while you are waiting for your physical card.<\/p>\n

        To view your virtual card, tap on ‘Manage Card’ and then the ‘View Virtual Card’ button. For your security, if there is no activity while viewing your virtual card for more than 5 minutes, the screen will time out.<\/p>\n

        Setting up Red Card on Android:-<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

        1. Tap\u00a0Menu icon\u00a0(located in top left corner) and<\/strong>\u00a0select\u00a0Red Card from dropdown.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        2. Enter your new card’s delight number and last 4 digits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          What if I have trouble setting up my Red Card?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

          A few things to keep in mind before trying to set up the card:-<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. If you have not completed the entire sign-up process and received a Welcome message from DoorDash stating your account is activated, please wait a few more days before trying again.<\/li>\n
          2. Before setting up the card, make sure you are connected to WiFi. If the card is failing, force quit your Dasher app and wait for about 30 seconds to re-launch it.<\/li>\n
          3. If the app freezes or gives you error messages, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The latest version of the app may not have the bug you encountered. You can find more troubleshooting tips for the Dasher app here.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Using Your Red Card<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n
              \n
            • Only use the card to pay\u00a0when prompted by the Dasher app: the\u00a0app may say \u201cPay with Red Card\u201d or \u201cPlace Order\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • You can only use the Red Card to pay\u00a0for a DoorDash order at the correct time and at the correct restaurant. The card\u00a0will only charge the correct amount of money due to the restaurant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • Always choose credit as payment method, since the card doesn\u2019t come with a PIN. Ignore the fact that the card says “debit”.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • Do not add tip when paying with the Red Card, and you don\u2019t need to keep receipts unless the order requests you keep the receipt. Please do not give your Red Card receipts to the customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    • DoorDash will make sure that the card is funded correctly, and you don’t have to worry about discrepancies between the total on the receipt and the total in your Dasher app because DoorDash knows the correct amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                        \n
                      • In the event that the card is lost, refer to\u00a0Lost Red Card\u00a0for next steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                          How to request an Activation Kit:<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

                          1. Sign up to be a Dasher and indicate your preferred Orientation method is the Activation Kit (if applicable). Select \u201cShip it to me<\/b>\u201d to receive your Activation Kit via USPS.<\/li>\n
                          2. After completing the W-9 form, an Activation Confirmation page will appear confirming your request was successful.<\/li>\n
                          3. You will receive an email with tracking information for your Activation Kit\u2019s delivery status.\n

                            • It will take 1-4 business days for the Activation Kit to be delivered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
