Interstate 95 \u2022 Fredericksburg \u2022 Stafford County \u2022 Virginia Department of Transportation<\/span><\/h2>\n

On Monday evening, six tractor-trailers collided with multiple downed trees on Interstate 95 in northern Virginia, causing traffic to grind to a halt.<\/p>\n

According to Virginia’s Department of Transportation, both northbound and southbound lanes of 1-95 were shut down near Fredericksburg.<\/p>\n

It’s been reported that many of those stuck in the stalemate have run out of fuel for their heaters and are now without food or water.<\/p>\n

Over 14 inches of snow fell on Virginia during the time of the multiple truck accident, knocking out power to over 400,000 people.<\/p>\n
