How To Activate New iPhone Verizon : Bring your own phone to Verizon Prepaid<\/span><\/h2>\n

When you order a new device, it will be ready to activate when you turn it on. Simply follow the steps on your screen to activate it.<\/p>\n

You can also\u00a0activate a device you already own (bring your own device) or swap devices with someone on your account.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve signed up for prepaid services:<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Turn on your new phone.<\/li>\n
  2. Select one of the following options:\n
      \n
    • New Customer<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 If you’re creating a new Verizon prepaid account<\/li>\n
    • Existing Customer<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 If you’re adding a line to an existing Verizon prepaid account (e.g., setting up a Prepaid Family Account)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Follow the onscreen instructions to finish connecting your phone to your Verizon account.<\/li>\n
    • Make a call from your phone to complete your activation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Attention<\/strong>: If you don’t make a call from your device within 60 days of adding funds to your account, any funds you added to your account will be forfeited and your service will be disconnected.<\/p>\n

      If you aren’t able to activate your phone using the instructions above, you can\u00a0activate your prepaid phone\u00a0online or call (866) 893-7723.<\/p>\n

      You can\u00a0change your prepaid device\u00a0in My Verizon.<\/span><\/h2>\n

      In the My Verizon app:<\/p>\n

      1. Tap the\u00a0Menu<\/strong>\u00a0icon.<\/li>\n
      2. Tap\u00a0Devices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Tap\u00a0Manage<\/strong>\u00a0next to the device you want to change.<\/li>\n
      4. Tap\u00a0Change device<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Follow the onscreen prompts to activate a different device on your prepaid line.<\/p>\n

        You can\u00a0change your mobile number\u00a0for your prepaid device in My Verizon.<\/span><\/h2>\n

        Note: You can change your number up to 3 times in one day and a maximum of 5 times in a 30-day period.<\/p>\n

        In the My Verizon app:<\/p>\n

        1. Tap the\u00a0Menu<\/strong>\u00a0icon.<\/li>\n
        2. Tap\u00a0Devices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Tap\u00a0Manage<\/strong>\u00a0under the device that needs a new number.<\/li>\n
        4. Tap\u00a0Change mobile number<\/strong>\u00a0and follow the onscreen prompts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
