I once asked my father how he overcame obstacles and became who he wanted to be. He replied, \u2018Hope, hope keeps me strong.\u2019&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we congratulate the U.S. 2021 Doodle for Google contest winner\u2014Kentucky-based 11th grader Milo Golding! Milo\u2019s winning artwork was recently announced on NBC\u2019s TODAY show and is featured on the U.S. Google homepage today for 24 hours.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>Video: Milo hearing the news of his win <\/em><em>from Google CEO, Sundar Pichai<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe title=\"Doodle for Google 2021, U.S. Winner\u2014Milo Golding!\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/azVrw7HulGI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Milo wants his Doodle to inspire hope and encourage others to overcome obstacles in the face of life\u2019s hardships. After losing his dad at 13 due to a heart attack, holding onto hope helped him overcome grief, and now he supports other children in similar situations.
