How to Activate DSTV<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Connect your smart TV to the internet using ethernet cable or Wi-Fi<\/p>\n

2. Go to the App Store on your TV, search for \u201cDStv Now\u201d, and install the app<\/p>\n

3. Once installed, the app will display a code on your TV screen<\/p>\n

4. On a laptop\/desktop, go to now.dstv.com and sign in<\/p>\n

5. Once signed in, go to now.dstv.com\/tv and enter the code displayed on the TV, then click on the \u201cSign in on TV\u201d button<\/p>\n

6. The app will now be live on the TV<\/p>\n

Setup Pairing<\/span><\/h2>\n

Setup Pairing screen is used for pairing Smart Cards with Decoders. In the system, if single STB exists for a customer, then the pairing can be done implicitly. But for more than one STB, the smart cards and decoders are paired explicitly.<\/p>\n

Through this screen an existing pairing can also be modified or cancelled.<\/p>\n

To pair smart cards with decoders:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. On the\u00a0Provisioning\u00a0module, click\u00a0Setup Pairing.<\/li>\n
  2. Retrieve\u00a0details of the customer.\u00a0The details like Customer Name, available smart card and decoder details appear in Pairing Details table.<\/li>\n
  3. To do a pairing, click the\u00a0Add\u00a0link in\u00a0Pairing Details table.<\/li>\n
  4. Select the type of smart card from SmartCard Code drop down. All the available smart card numbers of the specific type appear in SmartCard No. drop down.\u00a0Select the required number to be paired with decoder.<\/li>\n
  5. Select the type of decoder from Decoder Code drop down. All the available decoder numbers of the specific type appear in Decoder No. drop down. Select the required number to be paired with the selected smart card.<\/li>\n
  6. Click the\u00a0Save\u00a0button to pair the selected smart card with the decoder.<\/li>\n
  7. To cancel any existing pairing, select the check box against the pair and click the\u00a0Update\u00a0link. Finally click the\u00a0Save\u00a0button to remove the pairing details.<\/li>\n
  8. To modify an existing paring, click the Edit (pencil) symbol against a pairing. The paring details appear in edit mode. Modify the details and click the\u00a0Save\u00a0button to apply the modification.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
