{"id":15370,"date":"2021-10-29T07:05:36","date_gmt":"2021-10-29T01:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/?p=15370"},"modified":"2024-03-15T12:41:39","modified_gmt":"2024-03-15T07:11:39","slug":"global-foundry-ipo-globalfoundries-announces-pricing-of-initial-public-offering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seminarsonly.com\/news\/global-foundry-ipo-globalfoundries-announces-pricing-of-initial-public-offering\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Foundry IPO : GlobalFoundries Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Global Foundry IPO : GlobalFoundries Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>GlobalFoundries\u00ae (GF\u00ae), a\u202fglobal leader in feature-rich semiconductor manufacturing, today announced\u00a0the\u00a0pricing of its\u00a0initial public offering\u00a0of\u00a055,000,000\u00a0ordinary shares,\u00a030,250,000\u00a0of which are being offered by GF and\u00a024,750,000\u00a0of which are being offered by\u00a0GF\u2019s existing shareholder,\u00a0Mubadala Investment Company PJSC,\u00a0at an initial public offering price of $47.00\u00a0per\u00a0share.<\/p>\n<p>In connection with the offering, Mubadala has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional\u00a08,250,000\u00a0ordinary shares\u00a0at the public offering price, less underwriting\u00a0discounts\u00a0and commissions.\u00a0The\u00a0shares are expected to begin trading on\u00a0the\u00a0Nasdaq\u00a0Global Select Market\u00a0on\u00a0October 28,\u00a02021\u00a0under the ticker symbol\u00a0\u201cGFS.\u201d\u00a0The offering is expected to close on\u00a0November 1, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan Stanley,\u00a0BofA\u00a0Securities, J.P. Morgan,\u00a0Citigroup\u00a0and Credit Suisse are acting as active\u00a0book-running managers for the offering. Deutsche Bank Securities, HSBC and Jefferies are acting as additional book-running managers for the offering.
