How to use and set up the vaccination check-in app in Victoria for the beginning of the regional trial<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Victorian Government is conducting trials in businesses and events across highly vaccinated parts of regional Victoria.<\/p>\n

The trials will confirm the best processes for establishing vaccination status.<\/p>\n

Before you start<\/span><\/h2>\n

To add your COVID-19 digital certificate to the Service Victoria app, you\u2019ll need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have the latest version of the Service Victoria app installed on your phone. You\u2019ll also need either:<\/p>\n

\n
    \n
  • a\u00a0myGov\u00a0account <\/span>linked to your\u00a0Medicare online\u00a0account\u00a0<\/span>or\u00a0Individual Healthcare Identifier\u00a0(IHI)<\/span><\/li>\n

    OR<\/p>\n

  • the latest version of the Express Plus Medicare app installed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    You can add your COVID-19 digital certificate to the Service Victoria app from the\u00a0Express Plus Medicare\u00a0app<\/span>\u00a0or your\u00a0myGov\u00a0account<\/span>. The easiest way is through the Express Plus Medicare app.<\/p>\n

    Add COVID-19 digital certificate from the Express Plus Medicare app<\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Make sure you have the Express Plus Medicare app. You can download it from the\u00a0App\u00a0store<\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0Google Play\u00a0store<\/span>.<\/li>\n
    2. Update your Service Victoria app at the\u00a0App\u00a0store<\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0Google Play\u00a0store<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Open the Express Plus Medicare app.

    4. Tap \u2018Proof of vaccinations\u2019.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    5. Tap ‘View history’.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    6. Tap ‘Share with check in app’.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    7. Tap \u2018Share\u2019 next to Service Victoria.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    8. Read the conditions, then tap \u2018Accept and share\u2019.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    9. Tap \u2018Add certificate\u2019.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    10. Your COVID-19 digital certificate is now added to your Service Victoria app and linked for QR code check-in.

      Add COVID-19 digital certificate from MyGov<\/span><\/h2>\n

      1. Update your Service Victoria app at the\u00a0App\u00a0store<\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0Google Play\u00a0store<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Open the Service Victoria app and click on \u2018Add certificate via myGov\u2019. If you don\u2019t want to add your COVID-19 digital certificate right now, you can tap \u2018Close\u2019 and add it another time.

      3. Log in to your myGov account. If you don\u2019t have a myGov account, get one at\u00a0myGov\u00a0account<\/span>
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n
      4. Scroll to \u2018proof of COVID-19 vaccination\u2019 and tap \u2018Go to Medicare\u2019.
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n
      5. Tap \u2018Share with check-in app\u2019.
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n
      6. Tap \u2018Service Victoria\u2019.
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n
      7. Once you\u2019ve read the conditions, tap \u2018Accept and share\u2019. You\u2019ll see the message: \u2018Sending certificate\u2019.

      8. Once you see your COVID-19 digital certificate, tap \u2018Add certificate\u2019.
        \n\"\"<\/li>\n
      9. Your COVID-19 digital certificate is now added to your Service Victoria app and linked to the QR code check-in function.

        Showing proof of vaccination at businesses and venues<\/span><\/h2>\n

        When you check in using the Service Victoria app your confirmation screen will show:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • A green tick to show you\u2019ve checked in<\/li>\n
        • If you\u2019ve added your COVID-19 digital certificate – your name, a white tick on a green background and \u2018valid certificate\u2019 will be displayed<\/li>\n
        • If you haven\u2019t added your COVID-19 digital certificate – your name, question mark in a red circle and \u2018no certificate\u2019 will be displayed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          A venue or business may ask to see your COVID-19 digital certificate, which you can show them by tapping on your certificate. They\u2019ll then see your name, date of birth and vaccination status. A venue may also ask to see another form of ID, for example your driver licence, to confirm the identity on your COVID-19 digital certificate.<\/p>\n
