(AI) Stock Price, News, Quote, History&#8221; &#8212; Seminarsonly.com\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/c3ai-stock-price-c3-ai-inc-ai-stock-price-news-quote-history\/embed\/#?secret=cnVdh5V6JL#?secret=vCFvxEOtTV\" data-secret=\"vCFvxEOtTV\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>About applying for social relief of distress<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Social relief of distress is temporary provision of assistance intended for persons in such a dire material need that they are unable to meet their families\u2019 most basic needs.<\/p>\n<p>This could be due to any of the following factors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you need help while you wait for your children\u2019s grants to be processed.<\/li>\n<li>a crisis or disaster has occurred (e.g. your house has burnt down)<\/li>\n<li>you do not qualify for a grant, and you are in a desperate situation<\/li>\n<li>you are unable to work for a period of less than six month because you are medically unfit<\/li>\n<li>you are unable to get maintenance from the other parent of your child or children<\/li>\n<li>the breadwinner in the family has died<\/li>\n<li>the breadwinner has been sent to prison for a short time (less than six months)<\/li>\n<li>you have been affected by a disaster, but the area or community in which you live has not been declared a disaster area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"CO6VBVplnT\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/www-pbs-org-activate-login-and-live-stream-how-to-activate-pbs\/\">www.pbs.org Activate Login and Live Stream: How to Activate PBS<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;www.pbs.org Activate Login and Live Stream: How to Activate PBS&#8221; &#8212; Seminarsonly.com\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/www-pbs-org-activate-login-and-live-stream-how-to-activate-pbs\/embed\/#?secret=3T1zYTF9RK#?secret=CO6VBVplnT\" data-secret=\"CO6VBVplnT\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>What do you get?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Social Relief of Distress may be in the form of a food parcel or a voucher to buy food. Some provinces give this assistance in the form of cash. Social Relief of Distress is given for a short time only \u2013 usually for up to three months, which may be extended for another three months<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-10017 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/sassa-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"sassa\" width=\"431\" height=\"243\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seminarsonly.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/sassa-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seminarsonly.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/sassa.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 431px) 100vw, 431px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>What you should do<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Apply for social relief of distress at your nearest South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) office.<\/li>\n<li>Submit your application with the following documents:\n<ul>\n<li>your 13-digit bar-coded identity document and your children\u2019s birth certificates.<\/li>\n<li>if your identity document and\/or a birth certificate are not available:\n<ul>\n<li>an affidavit commissioned by a Justice of the Peace. The affidavit must contain a clause which indicates that provision of incorrect or inaccurate information will result in prosecution in terms of Section 21 of the Social Assistance Act, 2004.<\/li>\n<li>a sworn statement by a reputable person who knows the applicant and the child. This may be from a councillor, traditional leader, social worker or minister of religion.<\/li>\n<li>proof that an application for a birth certificate or identity document has been lodged with the Department of Home Affairs.<\/li>\n<li>where applicable, a temporary identity document issued by the Department of Home Affairs.<\/li>\n<li>a baptismal certificate.<\/li>\n<li>a road to health clinic card.<\/li>\n<li>a school report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>please note: No application can be processed without the sworn statement\/affidavit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you do not have an identity document and birth certificates, an affidavit from your local police station, chief, councillor or religious leader may be enough proof.<\/li>\n<li>Show proof that you:\n<ul>\n<li>have applied for a grant<\/li>\n<li>have had an emergency (e.g. provide a police report that your house burnt down)<\/li>\n<li>have tried to get maintenance<\/li>\n<li>have no other support<\/li>\n<li>are married, divorced, or single<\/li>\n<li>have no income<\/li>\n<li>have a short-term medical disability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>How long does it take<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Your application will be processed immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Once your application is submitted, it will be assessed for credibility and your genuine need for the service.<\/li>\n<li>Even if you do not have all the documents, you will get your first month\u2019s food parcel, voucher or cash.<\/li>\n<li>Remember to take all the documents to the officer before the second month\u2019s payment is due.
