Automatic Activation:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:70\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:70\">In most cases, your Target Visa Gift Card is activated automatically at the time of purchase, whether you bought it in-store or online. This means you can start using it right away for in-store purchases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:58\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>2. Online Activation (for Online and Gas Station Use):<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:99\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:99\">While your card might be active for in-store purchases, you&#8217;ll likely need to register a zip code to use it for online purchases or at gas stations.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"10:1-12:15\">You can do this in two ways:\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"11:5-12:15\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"11:5-12:15\"><strong>Online:<\/strong>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"11:5-12:15\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"12:9-12:15\">Go to <a your Target account on Target.com.<\/li>\n<li>Note: Target GiftCard access numbers cannot currently be requested in the Target App.<\/li>\n<li>Go to Account\/Name tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select Gift cards<\/li>\n<li>Find the Target GiftCard you wish to use, and then select Get access number<\/li>\n<li>The Target GiftCard access number will be emailed to the email tied to your Target.com account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Target GiftCards can be used:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>To purchase alcohol and other restricted items<\/li>\n<li>At Starbucks within Target stores.<\/li>\n<li>At Target Caf\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>At CVS Pharmacy within Target stores<\/li>\n<li>In-store at Target Optical (Target GiftCards cannot be used for online purchases with Target purchase Target GiftCards.<\/li>\n<li>At Minute Clinics within Target stores.<\/li>\n<li>Online at Target Optical (Target GiftCards can be used for in-store purchases with Target Optical.)<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Target.com is designed to accept up to 10 Target GiftCards per order as payment at checkout.<\/li>\n<li>Target GiftCards will always be used as first type of tender before charging a credit\/debit card.<\/li>\n<li>Target GiftCards don\u2019t expire, and don\u2019t lose value over time, even if this is printed on gift card.<\/li>\n<li>A Target.com account is required to access and redeem email and mobile gift cards in store or online purchases.<\/li>\n<li>Target GiftCards require an access number to redeem the gift the Target GiftCard or input the gift card number and the access code to add it to your account.\u00a0On your physical Target GiftCard, these numbers can be found by gently removing the silver strip
