Activating your Apple Card depends on whether you have the physical titanium card (and its packaging) or just the digital card on your device.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

1. Activate the Physical Titanium Card<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The method depends on whether you still have the card’s original packaging.<\/span><\/p>\n

Option A: With Packaging (Easiest)<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Unlock your iPhone.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Hold the top of your iPhone near the packaging (look for the wireless signal icon on the folder).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    A “Activate Apple Card” button should pop up on your screen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Tap it and your card is ready to use.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Option B: Without Packaging (Manual Activation)<\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n

    If you threw away the packaging,<\/span> do not worry.<\/span> You can activate it manually through the Wallet app:<\/span><\/p>\n

      Open the <\/span>Wallet app<\/b> on your iPhone.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Tap your <\/span>Apple Card<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Tap the <\/span>More button<\/b> (three dots <\/span>...<\/code> or the card icon) in the top-right corner.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Tap <\/span>Card Details<\/b> (look for the <\/span>i<\/code> icon or the card number icon).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Scroll down to the “Titanium Card” section and tap <\/span>Activate Your Card<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    6. \n

      Select <\/span>“Having trouble activating your card”<\/b> and then <\/span>“Do Not Have Card Packaging.”<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    7. \n

      Follow the instructions to complete activation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2. Activate on an iPad<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

      If you manage your Apple Card on an iPad instead of an iPhone:<\/span><\/p>\n

        Open the <\/span>Settings<\/b> app.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        Scroll down and tap <\/span>Wallet & Apple Pay<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Tap <\/span>Apple Card<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      4. \n

        Scroll down to the “Titanium Card” section and tap <\/span>Activate Your Card<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      5. \n

        Follow the onscreen steps.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        3. Activate the Digital Card<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

        You actually don’t need to “activate” the digital card separately.<\/span> Once your application is approved and you accept the offer, the card is automatically added to your Apple Wallet and is immediately ready for use with Apple Pay.<\/p>\n

        If you don’t have the Apple Card packaging<\/span><\/h2>\n

        If you don’t have the packaging that your titanium Apple Card arrived in, follow these steps to activate your card:<\/p>\n

        1. Open Wallet on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.<\/li>\n
        2. Tap the more button\u00a0\"\".<\/li>\n
        3. Under Physical Card, tap Activate Your Card.<\/li>\n
        4. Tap “Having trouble activating your card.”<\/li>\n
        5. Tap Do Not Have Card Packaging, then follow the instructions on your screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
