This may be a \u2018Soft Key\u2019 using the CPOMS Authenticator App, or a physical USB key.<\/p>\n<p>Each key acts as the third element of security in CPOMS.<\/p>\n<p>You will only ever be granted full access to the system when using the correct email address, password and key code.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>\u2018Soft Key\u2019 log-in using the CPOMS Authenticator App<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"su-row\">\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-3-4\">\n<div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>The CPOMS Authenticator App (Soft Key) works in much the same way as the latest revisions of Internet Banking in that it generates an ever changing security code to enable you log in using the app on your smart phone, tablet or iPad. The app can be used to log in to CPOMS on a PC\/ laptop \u2013 the app simply provides the passcode to input.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-4 su-column-centered\">\n<div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3454\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Soft-Key.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"146\" height=\"129\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>To log in using your Soft Key, firstly enter your email address, password and click \u2018Login\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Next, when prompted open up your CPOMS Authenticator App and press \u2018Send Code to CPOMS\u2019. clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;https \/\/on.ny.gov\/idme login : How do I verify my identity if I got an email from the New York State Department of Labor&#8221; &#8212; Seminarsonly.com\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seminarsonly.com\/news\/https-on-ny-gov-idme-login-how-do-i-verify-my-identity\/embed\/#?secret=uPTLCgBBIX#?secret=HArieuZElR\" data-secret=\"HArieuZElR\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Higher Level Dashboard displays a range of different search options to the left side of the screen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<b>\u2018Quick Student Search\u2019\u00a0<\/b>box will find any part of any pupil name and present you with a corresponding list.<\/li>\n<li>Beneath the \u2018Quick Student Search\u2019, is the\u00a0<b>\u2018Monitored Students\u2019<\/b>\u00a0check box which will produce a list of all the pupils who are currently being monitored under any of the categories that you have access to.\u00a0\u00a0<i>A pupil becomes monitored automatically when they have had an incident added to their profile by a staff member, or when they have been manually monitored from within the student overview.<\/i><\/li>\n<li>As well as\u00a0<b>\u2018Include Archived Students\u2019<\/b>, which will allow you to do any of the two previous searches and include any pupils who have now left the school \u2013 e.g. the last year 6 or 11 class.<\/li>\n<li>You can also\u00a0<b>\u2018Filter by Group\u2019<\/b>\u00a0to produce a full class register, and a note will appear next to their name of any categories pupils within that class are currently monitored under.<br \/>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3486\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG003-1.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 998px) 100vw, 998px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG003-1.jpg 998w, https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG003-1-737x400.jpg 737w, https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG003-1-768x417.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"998\" height=\"542\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lastly, you can\u00a0<b>filter by a specific category.<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On the right hand side of the dashboard is the<b>\u00a0\u2018Alert\u2019<\/b>\u00a0section. It will again tell you which member of staff has alerted you, which student the alert is for, the category the incident falls under and when the incident alert was created.<\/p>\n<p>If you now click on the word\u00a0<b>\u2018Incident\u2019<\/b>\u00a0you will be taken directly to view the incident, highlighted in yellow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3507\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG005.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG005.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG005-800x250.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG005-768x240.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"313\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With full access you are able to see more than the singular incident to which you have been alerted. If you have access to every category, you will see every incident registered in the system for this particular student.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3508\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG006.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG006.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG006-735x400.jpg 735w, https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UG006-768x418.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"544\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you have read the incident, you can then\u00a0<b>mark as read<\/b>\u00a0to acknowledge that you have seen the incident and understand the content. Once you mark an incident as read it will remove the alert from your dashboard alerts section.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3509\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cpoms.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Mark-as-read-button.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"33\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The incident will then filter into the student\u2019s incident log at the appropriate point i.e. if it is the most recent, it will be at the top.
