COVID patients end up with an overdose of unproven Ivermectin in Westmead Hospital<\/span><\/h2>\n

The latest round of the battle against Australians with self-medication is a Sydney COVID-19 patient recovering from a self-inflicted disease and vomitation caused by unproven medications, according to the health officials.
\nThe patient has recently arrived in the emergency department with overdoses of Ivermectin and other supposed “COVID cures,” said Professor Naren Gunjas Associate, Professor at the Westmead hospital toxicologist.<\/p>\n

The latest experiment in a range of home-doctors \u2013 including hydroxychloroquine, desinfectants, bleach and alcohol \u2013 required treatment in western Sydney.<\/p>\n

The patient recovered at home without serious complications after leaving the hospital, but it sparked another warning for COVID-19 patients from Australia that they could not self-heal, especially with Ivermectin.<\/p>\n

“They have not developed toxicity, thankfully, but they did not help their COVID either,” said The Pulse Website of Western Sydney Local Health District.<\/p>\n

“The use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19 is not supported. Don’t look for online magic cures and don’t depend on what’s on the internet, because they don’t work.”<\/p>\n
