The &#8220;Nuclear&#8221; Option (Downgrade Spotify)<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">If Spicetify is fully updated but <b>still<\/b> doesn&#8217;t work, it means the latest Spotify update is incompatible. You have to downgrade Spotify.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-path-to-node=\"13\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\"><b>Uninstall Spotify<\/b> completely.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\">Download an older version of Spotify (e.g., version <b>1.2.13<\/b> or <b>1.2.26<\/b> are stable for modding) from a site like <i>Uptodown<\/i>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\">Install that older version.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\"><b>Stop Spotify from Updating:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"13,3,1\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,1,0,0\">Navigate to <code>%localappdata%\\Spotify\\Update<\/code> in your File Explorer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,1,1,0\">Delete everything inside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,1,2,0\">Right-click the <code>Update<\/code> folder -&gt; <b>Properties<\/b> -&gt; <b>Security<\/b> -&gt; <b>Edit<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,1,3,0\">Check <b>Deny<\/b> for &#8220;Full control&#8221; for your user profile.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,4,0\">Reinstall Spicetify.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"14\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>Common Error:<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"15\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15,0,0\"><b>&#8220;Err: Spotify path not found&#8221;:<\/b> This happens if you installed the &#8220;Windows Store&#8221; version of Spotify.
