The &#8220;Files Are Corrupted \/ Integrity Check&#8221; Error (Steam Users)<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">If you are playing on Steam and getting a loop where it says &#8220;Files are corrupted&#8221; or &#8220;Integrity check required,&#8221; this is a known bug with the Steam integration.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><b>The Fix:<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\">Go to the official <b>Escape from Tarkov website<\/b> and download the <b>Standalone Launcher<\/b> (BsgLauncher).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\">Install and run the Standalone Launcher.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\">Log in with your account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\">Let it &#8220;discover&#8221; the game files or run a quick repair.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,4,0\"><b>Close it<\/b> and try launching via Steam again.<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5,4,1\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,4,1,0,0\"><i>Why this works:<\/i> The standalone launcher often fixes broken file associations that the Steam client misses during updates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"6\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">2.
