The official website, tneaonline.org, now has the TNEA Supplementary Counselling 2021 rank list available. On October 23, 2021, the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, will announce a tentative result for seat allocation.
Today, on October 21, 2021, the TNEA Supplementary Counselling 2021 rank list was released for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. The students’ qualifying examination marks were used to compile the rank list. TNEA supplementary counselling rank list is available on tneaonline.org for those who took the exam.

The allotted seats under TNEA supplementary counselling will remain frozen or float until tomorrow, October 22nd, 2021. On October 23, 2021, the government intends to release the preliminary results of the seat allotment process. To access the rank list, you’ll need an email address and a password. Students are reminded that their tentative seats must be confirmed by Wednesday, October 23 at 11:59 p.m. TNEA will announce the provisional allotment results on October 24 as a result of this.
Steps for TNEA Application Filling
Step 1.
Publication of List of Eligible Candidates – Firstly, the authorities will release the list of candidates for counselling.
Step 2.
Payment of Fee – Eligible candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of TNEA 2020 in online mode through credit/debit card or internet banking. It should be noted that the candidates will be able to participate in counselling only after payment of fees. Thus, candidates must pay the fees before the last date.
Step 3.
Adding Choices – After the payment of fees, candidates will have login to the TNEA portal using their user Id and password (Same that used at the time of registration). After this, candidates will also have to choose their preferred choices of institutes and courses. Candidates will have to add their choices within 3 days of the commencement of the round. Candidates are advised to save their choices at regular intervals.
Step 4.
Locking Choices – Candidates will have to finally lock the choices entered by them on the third day after the commencement of round.
Step 5.
Tentative Allotment – After locking of choices, the system will allot a seat on the basis of choices set by the candidates. Candidates will be able to check their tentative allotment through their login.
Step 6.
Submission of Allotment Options – After allotment of seats, a candidate will have an option to confirm, decline or reject the offer

How to Check TNEA Merit/ Rank List?
The candidates must note that the merit list will be published as per the date specified by TNEA. A direct link to check the rank list of TNEA will be updated here as and when DTE Tamil Nadu releases the same. Also, the candidates can visit the official website, i.e., www.tneaonline.in to check the rank list.
Only the candidates who feature in the rank list of TNEA will be eligible for the further rounds of the counselling process. If the candidates find any discrepancy in the merit or rank list published by DTE, he/ she can raise the objection. Such candidates need to contact the Office of the Secretary – TNEA, Directorate of Technical Education (Chennai).

What to do after TNEA 2021 Final Seat Allotment
After the final allotment of seats, candidates are required to go to their respective colleges for getting the admission in the given time and also in the provisional allotment order. Candidates can also cancel their remaining fees (excluding the initial deposit submitted for the TNEA 2021) at the allotted college for admission. Candidates must remember that in case if they fail to claim their admission in the given period then he/she will not get their seat and the allotment which was made for them will automatically get canceled.
