  4. Go to tixr.com/activate: On your phone or computer, open a web browser and go to tixr.com/activate.

  5. Log in to your Tixr account: If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be prompted to do so.

  6. Enter the code: Enter the activation code from your TV screen into the box on the website.

  7. Activate: Click the “Activate” button.

  8. Wait for activation: Your Tixr Play app on your TV should activate within 15 seconds.

How to Log into Your Tixr Account

Getting Started:

➡️ OPTION 1: From the Tixr home page, go to the top, right corner and click “Log In.”

➡️ OPTION 2: From the Tixr home page, go to the top, right corner and click the menu icon. Then, a side menu will appear where you’ll click “Login.”

Both options will populate a new, smaller window with 3 available actions → log in with Facebook, sign up via email, and log in with your email.

Logging in With Facebook:

Click the option at the top in dark blue that says “Log in with Facebook.” This will take you to a window where you will input your facebook login credentials. Once they’ve been verified, you’ll be directed back to the home page, ready to go!

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: If you haven’t already linked your Tixr account with Facebook, using this option will create a separate, duplicate Tixr account. Before using this option, make sure you have linked your Tixr account with Facebook through your Tixr profile settings to avoid confusion and better keep track of your purchased tickets.

Logging in With Your Email Address:

Look toward the bottom of the window and fill in the email and password space. Then, click “Log In.” You’ll immediately be directed back to the home page, ready to go!

How to Reset Your Password

The link in the reset password email will expire within 15 minutes of being sent. To avoid restarting the process, please ensure you are using it inside that 15-minute window.

1. Click “log in” at the top, right-hand corner of the Tixr webpage or from the side menu to bring up the window with login options. At the bottom, right-hand corner, you’ll see a “Forgot password?” link.

2. Click the link and type the email address linked with your Tixr account in the window that populates. Then click “Reset my password” after double-checking for typos.

3. An email will immediately be sent to your inbox with a link that you can use to reset your password.

You may not be able to log in because you haven’t created a Tixr account yet! If this is your first time on the Tixr website, you’ll need to create an account before you can make any purchases.
