SRD Payment Dates for November 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will be disbursing the SRD R370 grant payments for November 2024 from 23/11/2024 to 30/11/2024.

Later in April 2024, the grant payment was increased to R370. Now people can check their SRD SASSA status online to get this grant payment. Also, each client has to receive an SMS containing the payment date for the SRD grant. This date will allow them to visit the nearest SASSA office and collect the R370 cash from there.

However, the government has arranged eligibility criteria to maintain the continuous disbursement of the grant. SRD grant is only for those who are not receiving other financial support like UIF payments or NSFAS payments.

SRD SASSA Status Check Online

There are a few ways to check your SRD SASSA status:

1. SASSA Website:

• Go to the official SASSA SRD website: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
• Enter your South African ID number and the phone number you used to apply.
• Click “Submit” to view your status.

2. Moya App:

• Download the Moya App on your smartphone.
• Navigate to the SASSA section.
• Follow the prompts to check your SRD grant status. This option is data-free.

3. WhatsApp:

• Add the SASSA WhatsApp number to your contacts: 082 046 8553
• Send a message saying “status” followed by your ID number.
• Wait for a response with your application status.

4. USSD Code:

• Dial 1347737# or 12069277# from your phone.
• Follow the prompts to enter your ID number and application details.
• You will receive an SMS with your SRD status.

5. SASSA Call Centre:

• Call the SASSA helpline at 0800 601 011.
• Follow the voice prompts to check your application status.

Remember that the status may take some time to update after you apply. If your application is approved, you will also receive an SMS with information on how to collect your grant.
