To download the Sling TV app to your Roku, follow the steps below:
1. Locate Search on the left side of your screen
2. Type Sling TV in the search bar to locate the app
3. Once it appears, select Sling TV to continue
4. Select Add channel. Your Roku device will begin automatically installing the app
5. Once the installation is complete, return to your Roku home screen, then select the Sling TV app to start watching.
To subscribe, modify your account or watch Sling TV, you must be in one of the 50 United States or Puerto Rico.

SAMSUNG SMART TV
Compatible Samsung Smart TV models will come with Sling TV pre-loaded in the My Apps screen once your Smart TV is connected to the Internet. You can find this screen by pressing the Home button on your remote, then selecting Apps, and finally, My Apps. Follow the instructions below to download and install the Sling TV app:
- From the Apps screen, select the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to search for Sling TV
- Once the app is located, select Install to download the app on your Smart TV
- Allow the download and installation process to complete
Once the download is complete, select Open to launch the Sling TV app!
VIZIO SMARTCAST TV
To access the Sling app on your VIZIO SmartCast TV, follow these 3 steps:
- Press the input button on your VIZIO remote then choose the ‘SmartCast‘ input. You can also press the V or Home keys near the center of your remote.
- Find the Sling app from the list of available applications.
- Click on the Sling app and sign in with your Sling username and password. That’s it – No downloading required.
NOTE: The Sling TV app is only available on 2016 and newer model VIZIO SmartCast TVs. If you don’t see the Sling TV app already in the SmartCast app catalog, you may not have a supported device.
XBOX ONE
Installing Sling TV on your XBOX One is easy! Just follow the steps below:
- Start by navigating to the Store tab on the XBOX menu. Select Search all Apps, then search for “Sling TV”
- Select the Sling TV icon for more information. Next, select Get App, then Download App to begin installation
- Click Launch once the app has downloaded to open the app

To download the Sling TV app on your Amazon Fire TV, follow the steps below:
- Start by returning to your Amazon Fire TV home page, then click on the search icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.
- Next, use the search engine to locate the Sling TV app by typing in Sling TV
- You’ll notice related titles will populate below the Text Search keyboard. Select Sling TV or Sling Television, to locate the application.
- Click on the Sling TV application to open information about the app, as well as, begin the installation process; select Download
- Once the installation process is complete, click Open to launch the Sling TV app.
