Panera Gift Card Balance Check Online
There are two primary ways to check your Panera Bread gift card balance:
1. Online:
- Visit the Panera Bread website: Go to the official Panera Bread website and navigate to the “Gift Cards” section. Look for the “Check Your Gift Card Balance” link.
- Enter your card details: You’ll need to enter your gift card number and the PIN (if your card has one).
- View your balance: The website will display your current gift card balance.
2. In-store:
- Visit a Panera Bread location: Go to any Panera Bread bakery-cafe.
- Ask an associate: Request an associate to check your gift card balance for you. They can do this at the register.
Important Notes:
- PIN-less cards: If your gift card doesn’t have a PIN, you’ll need to visit a Panera Bread location to check the balance.
- Canadian gift cards: For Panera Bread gift cards issued in Canada, you can check the balance at any Panera Bread location in Canada
- Third-party websites: Be cautious about using third-party websites to check your balance, as they may not be secure.
If you prefer to check the balance in person, you can visit any of the over 2,000 Panera Cafe locations or call 1-877-218-5366 for balance inquiries.
Can I reload my Panera gift card online?
To reload your Panera Bread gift card online, follow these steps:
- Visit the Panera Bread website.
- Click on the Reload a Card option.
- Enter your gift card number and PIN.
- Choose the amount you want to reload.
- Complete the payment process.

How Do I Add A Missed Visit Code?
To add a missed visit for other than catering orders, click here. Then, log in to your account. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, please go to our “Sign In” page and request the information to be sent to your email address. For missed visits for catering orders, contact us at https://www.panerabread.com/customercare within 30 days of your visit and we will make the appropriate correction to your account.
Visit credits do not accrue until after your card is registered, so pre-registration visits are not accepted. However, once you register, you will receive a welcome surprise, which is added directly to your card and will show up on your MyPanera Dashboard
All codes expire after 30 days. If your receipt is more than 30 days old, you will not be able to add it online using our missed visit feature. Instead, you can use Contact Us here – we’ll be happy to add it for you with the information off your receipt. With the online feature, you can add one missed visit code per day, two per week, and four per month

The MyPanera program requires that guests register their card online to begint heir membership, which includes providing a unique, valid email address. This helps ensure that your visits are being recorded in the right place and maximizes your opportunities to earn rewards.
