The Navyist Rewards credit card programme will be transitioning from Synchrony to Barclays in the near future. Your brand new credit card is scheduled to arrive in the mail somewhere around the middle of June. This card has a whole new look, but it still has all of the same fantastic rewards that you are familiar with and appreciate. You will, as usual, be eligible to receive excellent benefits at no additional cost on an annual basis. Always check back to this page for the most recent information and specifics regarding this upcoming change.
If you intend to make a payment in June, please refer to the section below titled “MAKING PAYMENTS” so that we can ensure a smooth transition for you.
Important: If you opened your account on or after March 31, your replacement credit card will be mailed to you between June 20 and June 24. Please take note of this. Activate your card and start making purchases with it right away.
Oldnavy.com Activate your Credit Card :
1. Activate your new card starting June 20, any time after 6am ET.
2. Please destroy your Navyist Rewards Credit Card from Synchrony at that time as it will no longer be valid
3. Visit oldnavy.barclaysus.com to set up and manage your account online, set up repeat payments and enroll in paperless statements
4. Notify any merchants that automatically bill your account regularly, such as utilities, mobile phone, or insurance providers, of your new account information
Also, you should update any online merchant accounts that store your credit card information for expedited check-out as well as any digital wallets.
How do I get a PIN for my chip card?
Although we assigned a 4-digit PIN to your account when we opened it, we encourage you to change your PIN to something easy to remember, difficult to guess.
• If you activate your new card online, you’ll be prompted to create a PIN. You won’t have to know your existing PIN to create a new one.
• If you call us to activate your new card, you can also create a PIN, or you can request to have your assigned PIN mailed to you.
Please note that if you create a new PIN, you’ll have to sign for your first transaction at a chip-card terminal with a cashier. After your first chip transaction has been completed, your PIN will be activated and you’ll be able to use your card at self-service terminals where a PIN is required.
You can also use your PIN for cash advances at ATMs in the U.S. and around the world. Your Cash Advance Annual Percentage Rate (APR) will apply. Remember that there is only one PIN for your account. As the primary cardmember, you can share your PIN with authorized users, at your discretion.
How do I register for online Credit Card account servicing?
Go to the log in page of the website and click on the Set up online access button. Once you confirm your identity and set up your login credentials, you’ll be able to enter the website to service your Credit Card account.
MAKING PAYMENTS
Before June 16, continue to make payments as you normally do.
Beginning June 16, you will no longer have access to your online credit card account through Synchrony Financial at oldnavy.syf.com/login.
Payments scheduled to be processed on your Navyist Rewards Credit Card after June 16 will be canceled.
ONLINE PAYMENTS
If you plan to make an online payment, you can do so until 11:59pm ET on June 15. Please note, that you can modify a scheduled payment or autopayment until 7:00pm ET on June 15.
PHONE PAYMENTS
If you plan to make a payment via phone, you can do so until 11:59pm ET on June 15. Please note, that you can modify a scheduled payment or autopayment until 7pm ET on June 15.
PAYMENTS BY MAIL
If you plan to make a payment by mail, please mail it to the address for payments provided on your Synchrony billing statement at least 7 days before it is due.
Payments due between June 16 and June 19 should be mailed to Synchrony.
If you have arrangements with other electronic bill payment services, please notify them that payments will no longer be processed by Synchrony after June 16.
