How do I find multiview streams?

You have a few different options to find multiview streams on YouTube and YouTube TV

YouTube:

  1. At the top of your Home tab’s “Recommended”
  2. On the NFL channel page
  3. By searching for “NFL Sunday Ticket”
  4. By watching an NFL game or Redzone and hitting “down” twice to bring up multiview options

YouTube TV:

  1. At the top of your Home tab in the “Top picks for you” row
  2. Further down the Home tab in the “Watch in multiview” row
  3. By watching an NFL game or Redzone and hitting “down” to bring up multiview options

How do I select the multiview combination that I want?

Pre-set multiview streams are available for NFL Sunday Ticket on both YouTube and YouTube TV. While you can’t fully customize your multiview streams right now, we do have an extensive assortment of streams for you to choose from

The quickest way to find the multiview for a select combination of games is to:

  1. Start watching one of the games you want to watch
  2. Press down until you see multiview combinations
  3. Select your preferred game combination

What devices is multiview available on? / Why am I not seeing multiview on my device?

Multiview is currently only available on streaming devices and smart TVs. At this time, it’s not available on mobile or web browsers. Smart TVs without Cobalt will not support multiview. You can check your Cobalt version by following the instructions here

When will multiview options show up on Game Day?

You’ll see multiview options ~15 mins before the start of the game on YouTube TV and ~30 mins on YouTube

How many streams will show up in multiview?

The pre-set multiviews are groups of up to four live games that are displayed together as a single stream

Which streams will show up in multiview?

  • If you’re a NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber with NFL RedZone, you’ll be able to watch RedZone side-by-side with your NFL Sunday Ticket games in multiview
  • If you’re a NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber with a YouTube TV Base Plan, you’ll see a few options with local NFL games and Sunday Ticket games in multiview
  • If you have all three (NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL RedZone, and YouTube TV Base Plan), you’ll have a few options to watch RedZone, local games, and NFL Sunday Ticket games in multiview
  • If you only have YouTube TV Base Plan, you will only have multiview options with your local games. Subscribing to Sports Plus alone does not enable multiview for RedZone – you must be subscribed to Sunday Ticket + RedZone. We are contractually not allowed to provide RedZone in multiview for users without NFL Sunday Ticket due to the terms of our agreement with the NFL and other broadcasters

Known Issues that we’re working on:

On the YouTube app (but not YouTube TV), if you don’t have NFL RedZone, you may still see it listed in your multiview options on Home, but then will see an error message and won’t be able to watch the RedZone stream. We’re sorry this is a confusing experience and we’re working to fix it. For now, don’t select the multiview options that include RedZone if you haven’t signed up for RedZone
