New Year Wish in Sanskrit 2025
1. नववर्षाभिनन्दनम् (nava-varṣābhinandanam)
This is a simple and elegant way to say “Happy New Year”. It literally translates to “New Year congratulations”.
2. नूतनवर्षस्य शुभकामनाः (nūtanavarṣasya śubhakāmanāḥ)
This translates to “Good wishes for the new year”. It’s a more formal way to express your well wishes.
3. सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः। सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद्दुःखभाग्भवेत्॥ (sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ sarve santu nirāmayāḥ | sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu mā kaścidduḥkhabhāgbhavet ||)

4. ॐ स्वस्ति नः इन्द्रो वृद्धश्रवाः। स्वस्ति नः पूषा विश्ववेदाः॥ (om svasti na indro vṛddhaśravāḥ | svasti naḥ pūṣā viśvavedāḥ ||)
This is a Vedic mantra invoking blessings for prosperity and well-being. It translates to “May Indra, the one with great wisdom, grant us well-being. May Pūṣan, the all-knowing, grant us well-being.”
