Login with Amazon lets you use your Amazon user name and password to sign in to and share information with participating third-party websites or apps.
To use Login with Amazon:
- Go to a website or app that offers Login with Amazon.
- Select the Login with Amazon button. An Amazon-hosted sign-in screen will appear. Note: Websites and apps registered with Login with Amazon will always have a sign-in screen with an Amazon web address. You’ll never be asked to give your Amazon password to the third-party site directly.
- Enter your user name and password.
- The first time you sign in to a website or app, you’ll see a screen asking for your consent to share certain information from your personal profile. If you’d like to share this data with the website or app, select Okay.
- You’ll be directed back to the website or app as a registered user or prompted to complete registration.
Amazon Music on Xfinity X1 and Flex Overview
Amazon Music is now available on Xfinity X1 and Flex!
The Amazon Music app on X1 and Flex allows you to stream Amazon Music Free, Amazon Music Prime and Amazon Music Unlimited content, as well as any digital music purchased through Amazon, directly on your X1 or Flex streaming TV Box.
To use the Amazon Music app on these devices, you’ll need:
- A compatible X1 TV Box (RNG150s not supported) as part of your TV subscription, or the Xfinity Flex service
- Xfinity Internet service (any level)
Amazon Music offers three tiers to subscribe to:
- Amazon Music Free provides free access to top playlists and thousands of stations and includes ads. Visit Amazon Music Free to learn more.
- Amazon Music Prime is included at no additional cost with a subscription to Amazon Prime and includes ad-free access to two million songs and podcasts. Visit Amazon Music Prime to learn more.
- Amazon Music Unlimited allows ad-free access to 75 million songs and podcasts and requires a separate subscription. Visit Amazon Music Unlimited to learn more.
Access Amazon Music on your X1 and Flex Streaming TV Box
The easiest way to access Amazon Music is by saying “Amazon Music app” into your Voice Remote.
Connect your Amazon Music Account to your Xfinity Service
- Launch the Amazon Music app on your X1 or Flex streaming TV Box.
- An Activation Code will be displayed. From a browser on your PC or mobile device, enter the code at https://amazon.com/code.
- From your browser or mobile device, you’ll be prompted to log into your Amazon account. Sign in.
- On your browser or mobile device, Register Your Device will appear. Enter the code that’s appearing on your X1 or Flex TV Box screen.
- Your browser or mobile device will say “Success!”, and your X1 or Flex TV Box will launch the main menu of Amazon Music.
Manage your Amazon Music Subscription
- Visit https://www.amazon.com/music/settings to manage your Amazon Music subscription.
- To sign up for Amazon Music Unlimited, select the Profile icon (top right).
- Select Try Amazon Music Unlimited, and a screen with a dedicated URL will appear.
- Follow the on-screen instructions from your mobile device or browser.
Listen to Amazon Music
Once you’ve opened the Amazon Music app and synced your account, you can discover and listen to music in the following ways:
- Browse top tracks, albums, playlists and more
- View your recently played tracks
- Play music saved to your library
- Search for an artist or title
Please note that streaming music via the Amazon Music app will count towards your monthly Internet data usage. Learn more about X1 Internet data usage.
Parental Control Settings
- Access to the Amazon Music app can be locked by using an Application Lock.
- The Amazon Music app is rated as TV-MA, so locking TV-MA under X1 Settings > Parental Controls > TV Rating Locks will also require the use of a Parental Control PIN to access.
- The Amazon Music app has an Explicit Content filter that can be toggled on/off by accessing the Settings menu with the Amazon Music app.
Note: Once the Amazon Music app is launched, X1 and Flex parental controls settings will not guard against searches or playback within the app.
