Here’s how you can do it:
1. Register on the Jeevan Pramaan Portal:
- Download the App: You can download the Jeevan Pramaan app on your mobile phone or computer. It’s available for Android, iOS, and Windows.
- Visit a Jeevan Pramaan Centre: If you need assistance or don’t have a compatible device, you can visit a Jeevan Pramaan Centre. These centres are typically located at banks, post offices, and government offices.
2. Provide Your Information:
- Aadhaar Authentication: You’ll need to provide your Aadhaar number and authenticate using your biometrics (fingerprint or iris scan).
- Pension Details: Enter your pension payment order (PPO) number, bank account details, and other relevant information.
3. Generate Life Certificate:
- Capture Biometric Data: The app or centre will capture your biometric data to verify your identity.
- Receive Acknowledgement: Once your identity is verified, a life certificate will be generated, and you’ll receive an SMS acknowledgement with your Jeevan Pramaan Certificate ID.
4. Access and Submit Your Certificate:
- Download Certificate: You can download a PDF copy of the certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan website using your Jeevan Pramaan ID.
- Submit to Pension Disbursing Agency: Share the certificate ID or the PDF with your pension disbursing agency (bank, post office, etc.). They can access it online.
