Many of the 11 million DirecTV subscribers’ programs were unavailable on Sunday due to an impasse between Disney and the pay TV provider over a new deal. ESPN, FX, Disney Channel, and National Geographic are a few of them.
On Sunday, all Disney programming channels dropped off the DirecTV satellite TV service due to a licensing agreement dispute.
In the midst of the college and professional football seasons, more than 11 million pay-TV users were unable to view ESPN and ESPN2, as Disney was unable to come to an agreement and their material went dark on DirecTV. ESPN Deportes, ESPNU, ESPN News, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, FX, FX Movie Channel, FXX, Freeform, and the National Geographic channels are among the other channels that were eliminated.
