To join Quizizz game with a code, follow these steps:

• Go to the Quizizz join page: Open your web browser and go to https://quizizz.com/join

• Enter the code: Your teacher or host should provide you with a unique game code. Type this code into the box on the join page.

• Enter your name: Type your name or nickname in the provided box. You can also click the arrow button to generate a fun, random Quizizz name.

• Adjust settings (optional): You can toggle options for music, memes, read-aloud questions, and sound effects.

• Click “Start”: Once you’re ready, click the “Start” button to join the game!

You don’t need a Quizizz account to join a game, but creating one allows you to track your progress and participate in more features.

Class Codes: If your teacher shared a class code, you’ll need to join their class first before you can access their quizzes.

Game Links: Sometimes, teachers might share a direct link to the game instead of a code. In that case, just click the link to join.

How to access Quizizz account

Here’s how you can access your Quizizz account:

1. Go to the Quizizz website: Open your web browser and go to https://quizizz.com/.

2. Click on “Login”: In the top right corner of the homepage, you’ll see a “Login” button. Click on it.

3. Enter your credentials:

• If you signed up with an email address and password, enter those.
• If you signed up using Google or another social media account, click on the corresponding button to login through that platform.

4. You’re in!: Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be taken to your Quizizz dashboard where you can see your created quizzes, joined classes, and other account information.

Sign Up as Student

To create an account on Quizizz as a student, follow these steps:

1. Click the ‘Sign up‘ button on the join page and enter your email address as shown in the images above.
2. Click on ‘at a school’ option as you are a student (in a school or university)
3. Click on ‘a student’ in the next window
4. To create your account with Quizizz, you are required to confirm your date, month, and year of birth. (To comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we’re required to take extra precautions with the personal data of students under 13)
5. If you are below age 13, fill in your parent or guardian email address, username, and password to complete the signup process.
   For students above age 13, fill in your first name, last name, and password to complete the signup process
6. Click on ‘Continue’ once done. You are now a registered student on Quizizz

Joining a Game

To join a game as a student, follow these steps:

1. Sign up or login to your active Quiziz student account
2. Click on the Quizizz join page and enter the code that is shared by your teacher
3. Type your name in the name box. Click the arrow button to generate a fun Quizizz name. You can select one of 3 randomly generated names
4. Toggle the settings if required (Music, Memes, Read aloud option, Sound effects can be enabled and disabled)
5. Click on Start when you are ready
6. If the students are playing a game using a code shared via Google Classroom, Schoology, or Canvas, they need to sign in to their LMS account before they join the game to obtain the code
