To add iHeartRadio to your Roku, follow the steps below:
- From your Roku device, select the Channel Store icon on the Roku home screen.
- On the Channel Store page, navigate to the Music section. Under this category, scroll to the left to browse through the channels, and select iHeartRadio.
- You will be brought to the iHeartRadio Channel Store page. From here, select Add Channel.
- The page will reload. To immediately launch iHeartRadio, select Go to channel. iHeartRadio will begin installing.
- After installation is complete, iHeartRadio will load and you will see a welcome screen. Here you can log in with your iHeartRadio account, or if you do not already have an account, you can sign up to create one for free.
- Your Roku device is now connected to your iHeartRadio account, and you should now see iHeartRadio loaded on your TV screen. Happy listening!
Use iHeartRadio on your Chromecast on Android
Before using iHeartRadio with your Chromecast, please verify that your Android device is connected to your Chromecast by going through the Chromecast app.
- To get started streaming iHeartRadio to your TV, simply open the iHeartRadio app and go to the station you want to listen to.
- Please ensure that your Android device is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast. When there is a Chromecast on your Wi-Fi network, you will see a Cast icon on the screen. Tap on the Cast button to see a list of devices that you are able to stream iHeartRadio to.
- Once you tap the Cast button, please select the Chromecast device you want to cast your screen to. The Chromecast will be listed under its name.
You can disconnect iHeartRadio from your Chromecast by tapping the Cast button again, and then tapping “Disconnect”

Use iHeartRadio on your Chromecast on iOS devices

- To link your Android TV to your iHeartRadio account, from your computer, go to iheart.com/activate. Follow the prompt to log in with your iHeartRadio account and enter the unique activation code from your TV screen
- Your Android TV device is now connected to your iHeartRadio account, and you should now see iHeartRadio loaded on your TV screen. Happy listening!
Linking iHeartRadio with Amazon Echo or other Alexa powered devices.
To link iHeartRadio to your Amazon Echo or other Alexa powered device:
- From the Amazon App, tap on the More tab
- Select Settings > Music & Podcasts. A list of music services available on Amazon appears.
- Tap on iHeartRadio, click “Link Account”, and login
Adding iHeartRadio via Apple CarPlay
In order set up iHeartRadio on your car via Apple CarPlay, please follow the steps below.
- Connect your iPhone to your car’s display via mini lightning cable.
- Once your car display’s screen switches to the Apple CarPlay, you will be able to access the music tab at the bottom.
- The screen will display all available music apps currently on your phone. Scroll down until you find iHeartRadio and press it.
- iHeartRadio will launch and you will have all the features from the mobile app on your car display.

Help Logging in with Facebook or Google
If you’re experiencing difficulties logging into iHeartRadio with your Facebook or Google account, your current network (e.g corporate or school WiFi) might not allow access to Facebook or Google.
In order to log into your iHeartRadio account, try logging into iHeartRadio.com using Facebook or Google from a network that allows access.
You can also request a password reset using the email address associated with your Google or Facebook account. Once you get a password reset email, create a password and log in using your email account and the password you set.
